Capítulo 93: Forty-Eight Hours

"Nix." Valerio immediately stood up from beside the bed and walked up to Nix.

"Is she conscious?" Nix asked and he nodded his head at him. 

He ambled close to the bed and leaned down to look at Delarcy who was awake with her eyes half open. 

"Hello, Delarcy. Are you okay?" He inquired with a warm smile on his face and Delarcy nodded at him. "Mhm…"

"Hmm. You don't look to be in a good condition." Nix reached out his hand and touched her forehead. "You're burning up." He said and dropped his bag on the floor. "Give me your hand."

Delarcy slowly raised her and Nix gently grabbed a hold of it. "Blue…" He murmured as his eyes gazed at the tip of her fingers which were blue. 

"Is she…okay?" Deeply worried as a result of the frown he saw on Nix's face, Valerio asked. 

"She's fine. But…there is something strange." He replied and a look of confusion emerged on Valerio's face. 

"Which is?" He raised his brow in a questioning manner.
