Everyone became silent as Lilliana stared at Kylie with an open mouth. I had mine closed but was just as confused. What was a princess doing serving as a milkmaid?! Also, now she wants to become one of my wives?! I felt like I was sipping coffee in a burning house, telling myself, this is fine.

"Y-You are my aunty?!" Lilliana finally stammered out as Kylie took my brother back from her, nodding as she did.

"Yes. My sister and I were very close when I was younger. My reason for becoming a milkmaid was because I had a miscarriage. I was supposed to marry a prince from Arcanum, in the Terma Kingdom, and he got me with child long before that date. Unfortunately, I lost our child, and he refused to marry me, taking my youngest sister instead. Because this brought shame to us, my father sent me away to the Vienerstien kingdom to form a trade agreement along with many other supplies."
