"Babe, did she hurt you," Leon rose to his feet and examined Ella thoroughly. His heart sank and his anger towards Yvonne deepened when he observed two slap marks on Ella's reddened face.

"I'm fine, dear. She didn't hurt me as much as I hurt her." Ella replied in a reassuring tone.

"Are you sure?"

"I'm baby," Ella managed a brief smile.

"Did she hit your tummy?" Leon gently stroked Ella's baby bump softly causing her to giggle.

"No, Daddy, I made sure to defend our baby." Ella smiled. In an attempt to stop Leon's interrogation, she pulled him close and started kissing him, to the dismay of Ivory and the others hanging around.

"Let's continue this inside," Ella whispered into Leon's ear, causing him to glimmer.

"As you wish my love." Leon lifted Ella into his arms and took her into the house, leaving Ivory perplexed and mesmerized.
