Capítulo 28: Gaining Some Fame.

After the whole fiasco with the devils, his two companions decided that they had to take it easy for some time. He agreed to that and they continued their journey at a much slower pace. They visited a few more places in Ireland and Ichigo helped a few more ghosts move on, in turn helping quite a lot of people as well. They started to spread his name to the local community who quickly spread his name to the national level.

Their habit of drinking with their buddies at the pubs allowed them to share information and gossip to their hearts content. They happily drank and traded stories and of course his little group was brought up quite a bit. How they were good people traveling the country, how they are willing to help if one asked nicely and how they would be happy as long as you gave them some good alcohol.

The last one was surprisingly due to Inari. She wanted to try the different alcoholic drinks they had and Kuku always agreed with her. He was also dragged in whenever these things happened. He would always get loud when he got even slightly tipsy, Kuku was still trying to increase her tolerance and Inari was having fun trying all the new alcoholic drinks.

By the time they decided to leave, their group was famous in Ireland for being good drinkers. He would lie if he said he wasn't enjoying himself. Wherever they went, people seemed to recognize them immediately. It wasn't surprising, considering that the humans here used better technology and a lot more frequently. That and the fact that they were very eye-catching, especially his orange hair and the beauty of his companions. Ichigo got his wish to help more ghost move on and got to enjoy the journey as well.

During their travels, he had asked them to tell him more about the supernatural scene in general. He also told Kuku about his origins. She didn't seem to mind it much and smiled while saying that they were similar in that sense. Inari had already told him a lot about the the general scene. Now they got into a bit more detail. That being the strongest pantheon and the ranking of different people based on their power. They told him that the strongest pantheon was the Hindu Pantheon.

They were the strongest, not only because they had the strongest gods, but also because they had numerous gods. Their strongest god was Shiva, Hindu god of Destruction, followed by Brahma and Vishnu, Hindu gods of Creation and Preservation. Shiva was widely acknowledged as the third in the top 10, right below Great Red and Ophis. The three pillar gods were strong on their own, but their combined might was known to be even stronger.

They also had Indra, who, while not as strong as the three, had the allegiance of all the Hindu gods. That and Indra's full control of their completely separate realm caused it to be an impenetrable stronghold. His control over the realm was so strong that he had created heaven and hell in his own realm. That also meant that all the Hindu gods were always in the same realm. All of that combined with the number of gods the Hindu pantheon had made them the strongest.

On the other hand, the ranking system for all the supernatural species was the same. Different Pantheons gave their strongest different names but the lower levels were the same. Starting at the bottom were of course, the humans. Above them were low-class beings, then mid-class, then high and finally ultimate-class beings or low-level gods.

This was the level where most stopped in terms of strength. According to Inari, Yasaka was an ultimate-class on her own and could enter the next level by using the ley-lines. Many of the gods were also of this rank.

After that came the Mid-level gods. Here the names changed for each pantheon or region. The Hindus called their mid-level gods, Devas. The devils called them Satans. The angels, Seraph/Seraphim and so on. These were the beings that could destroy whole countries if they wanted. Serafall Leviathan, Falbium Asmodeus, Gabriel, Uriel, Indra, Brahma, Vishnu, Inari herself, Odin, Zeus, Dragon King Tiamat were all on this level.

Next were the High-Level Gods. These were the beings that could destroy whole continents. They had special titles for themselves. Shiva being The God of Destruction. Sirzechs, The Crimson Satan. Ajuka, The Inventor. Thor, The Thunder God. Michael, The Arch Angel. Crom Cruach, the Strongest Evil Dragon. Amaterasu, The Sun Goddess, Ddraig was the Red Dragon of Domination and Albion was the White Dragon of Supremacy. Azazel, The Fallen General. Hades, The God of the Dead. The Biblical God, Yhwach being The Creator.

When he heard the name of the Biblical God, he faltered for a second before confirming what he had heard. He told them that the one who ended up destroying his realm was also named Yhwach. They told him that Yhwach was just one of the many titles that the biblical god had.

There were others on this rank and their powers had a wide range. While they were of the same rank, their powers had a very clear difference, with Shiva and Yhwach known as the strongest. There were talks of dividing the high-level Gods into further categories but that hadn't happened yet.

Last but not least were the the Dragon God and The True Dragon. It was believed that only if the other top 10 beings combined their powers, would they be able to defeat one of these two behemoths. It wasn't known who was stronger between the two, so they were both treated as equals. Ichigo was also told that he, at his full powers, i.e resurreccion, could easily out class mid-level gods.

That didn't make sense to him. During his fight with Aizen, his simple swings could destroy mountain, during his fight with Gingo a single Getsuga could clear the sky. During his fight with Yhwach, he was dozens of times stronger than that. His mere presence could kill humans. His every swing could destroy cities and a full powered Getsuga could destroy a whole country. Right now he was dozens of time stronger than that and that's not even talking about his resurreccion.

In his final release he felt like he could easily destroy a continent or two. He should already be in the top 10, even if he was not the first or second. He felt like he could easily match the third, but that could only be found out through battle, so he was okay with what they told him and continued with their journey. He also wasn't keen on letting the whole world know about him and his powers, not yet at least.

During these discussions, Inari had gotten a bit too much to drink and started hanging off of him, asking him why he wouldn't respond to her feelings. Things got a bit awkward after that but he did tell her that he didn't want anything serious with anyone for some time. Did he chicken out? Yes. But in his defense, he was still reeling from the fact that he had completely ignored the girls back in his own world that were also interested in him. Main one being Orihime.

There was also Nel, but that was a bit more complicated. Also the fact that he was no longer exactly human, but a completely different being. He didn't know how long he would live or if he would die after reaching the end of his shinigami lifespan. The old captain back in soul society was thousands of years old and he looked the same as a human in their 90's. He would most likely also live for at least a few millennia.

He talked with Zangetsu about that. Zangetsu told him that he was a being that was alive as well as dead. It was also the most likely reason Hell chose him as it's agent. But according to Zangetsu, he would not die as long as he wasn't killed. Meaning that this time if his body died, his spirit wouldn't become a Shinigami, rather he would die completely. Also meaning that if he wasn't killed, he would live a long life. He thought on that for the remaining time they spent in Ireland.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

After Ireland they decided to go to the neighboring Scotland, because Kuku wanted to meet someone. Scotland was more known for its music, especially the bagpipes, and their supernatural species mostly consisted of Mer-people or Mer-folks. They usually kept to themselves and rarely, if ever, came out to land. They were scattered across the coast of the islands, away from humans and other species. They were here because they wanted to see the Loch ness monster. Kuku apparently knew him and told them that he was one of the extremely rare, passive dragons.

He was one of the few that didn't join the great war and told the other dragons that he would go into hiding to keep himself away from it. A dragon who didn't want to hurt anyone or get hurt himself. Many called him a coward and a weakling, but Kuku told them that he was just extremely lazy. He wanted to sleep so he found a place to sleep. Many of the dragons said that if someone disturbed your sleep, kill them, he would say, fuck them and go away to find somewhere else to sleep.

He, like the Mer-people, mostly kept to himself and would usually show himself whenever there were few people watching the lake. When Kuku heard this and his nickname, she said laughing.

"It is most likely his way of having some fun. While he was never a strong dragon to begin with, he was definitely the most simple one. That name suits him quite well."

After traveling for a bit during which Kuku told her own stories of meeting other dragons, they made it to the lake. It was a beautiful place with a lot of nature, so he just sat down and took it in. Just sitting, surrounded by nature was becoming one of his favorite pastime as of late. He took a few deep breaths and spread his senses. The humans were sure that the lake was not very deep but that was apparently not true. There was a cave opening hidden by natural and magical means that went much deeper.

As he went deeper and deeper into the cave, he finally came across a large creature. He couldn't exactly see it so what he felt was a sort of aquatic dinosaur than a dragon. Like Kuku, this dragon was not what you'd imagine when you heard Dragon. Kuku was beautiful and colorful giant snake. She had feathery wings while this one didn't have any. He said pointing at the center of the lake.

"Kuku, if you head that way, you will see a cave opening. It should lead to your friend. I will be walking around and seeing the scenery and the waterfall while you talk to your friend." After saying that he stood up and went to find the waterfall the locals said was hidden in the forest. Inari also followed him and they went to find it together while holding hands. He was starting to like the constant physical contact. It was soothing as well as calming. Was he being an asshole, wanting physical contact but not responding to her feeling? Most likely. Soon after they left, they heard a splash, signaling that Kuku had left to talk with her friend.

They kept walking around the lake. It wasn't very large so they made it to the forest rather quickly. They followed the sound of water and came across the waterfall they were looking for. It was another breathtaking scenery. Ichigo had never been to other countries in his own world and after coming here he felt like he did a right thing deciding to travel. The sceneries alone were enough the little hassle it caused. He still felt bad that he was using another's money for his trip, but Inari had been insistent that he do it.

After a few hours of walking around, talking and eating some food, they heard another splash. This time it was louder than before. They made their way back to the lake and saw Kuku in her Quetzalcoatl form and another giant creature. It definitely looked more like a dinosaur than a dragon. They walked closer to the two of them and heard them talking.

"So, you will keep on sleeping then?" Kuku asked Nessie, they didn't know his real name so they were sticking with that.

"You have known me for a long time now, Quetzal. You already know my answer." Nessie replied with a deep and calm voice.

"Just checking. These are my current companions. On the left is Ichigo and on the right is Inari." Kuku sighed at his answer before introducing them with some cheer.

The dinosaur looked at them for a while before introducing himself.

"I am sure Quetzal has introduced me already but nonetheless I was once called Mabuz for some reason but I now go by Nessie. I believe it suits me much better." Nessie said with some amusement in his voice.

"My name is Ichigo Kurosaki and I'm also quite sure that Quetzal has already told you about us. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of dragon are you?" Ichigo introduced himself and asked.

"I do not mind. I'm a unique dragon. There are no other of my kind, like Quetzal. I don't know about my parents and what they did to get me or if I even have any parents, but I'm what I am. There used to exist a lot of unique dragons, each conceived and created using different methods but we are nearly all extinct. I have already told Quetzal everything I knew, so you can ask her if you wish. Now though, I wish to go back to sleep." He said before turning to Kuku.

"It was good meeting you Quetzal. Go meet the others as well. They will be happy to know that you are back." With that he dived back to the lake and vanished into the cave.

"How did the talk go?" Inari asked Kuku.

"Pretty well. I got updated on the status of the other dragons. That is what I wanted to know the most." Kuku replied as she turned into a human again. They continued on as Kuku explained what she and Nessie talked about.

Probably going to be the only chapter this week. Our government is being stupid. They have opened our Universities, they won't remain open for long, I'm sure, but it leaves me with little free time. So, apologies in advance. Nonetheless, tell me what you guys think.
