Capítulo 110: Impossible
"Sir, I am so sorry for calling you in today, but there was an impromptu meeting scheduled by one of our suppliers" said the Secretary.
"That is alright, you are here as well on a Saturday morning, so we are basically in the same boat" said Dom as he smiled.
"I guess so Sir" said the Secretary as she smiled.
"So what exactly is the problem?" asked Dom as he looked up from his laptop.
"Well Sir, apparently there was a problem with the clearance of one of the ships that have our new materials that we have asked to be imported" said the Secretary as she handed Dom a folder.
"We are being accused of carrying illegal contrabands along with the materials" said the Secretary.
"Impossible!" said Dom as he flipped through the file.
"I gave a stern warning, I was very particular of the ship only carrying the materials we ordered and nothing else" said Dom as he shook his head and he sighed.
"Yes Sir, I was there when you gave the orders, but it seems that they did it anyway" said the Secretary.
"Well the serious part of this matter is that, now the customs are bent on burning all the materials that were on the ship, along with the contrabands" said the Secretary as she sighed.
"That… there is no way I am allowing them to burn those materials" said Dom as he sighed.
"Do they know how much money we spend on those??" asked Dom.
"And I even asked you to place three times the amount of material we usually, and now this happens" said Dom as he could not believe this, he was not ready to wake up to such bad news this morning.
"I know Sir, this is worrying me as well" said the Secretary as she sighed.
"Alright then, please go and lock up, inform the security guards that we are leaving, pause all your tasks for the day, you and I are going to the port" said Dom.
"We have to settle all this nonsense" said Dom as he sighed.
"Alright Sir" said the Secretary as she nodded her head.
"Meet me outside when you are done" said Dom.
"Yes Sir" said the Secretary as she nodded her head and she left Dom's office.
"*Sigh*, I never get a break do I?" asked Dom as he sighed and he shook his head.
"First it was Natasha, and now it's this" said Dom as he brought out his phone and he dialed a number.
"Hello Alfred" said Dom as his call was picked up.
"Hello Young Master" said Alfred as he smiled.
"Alfred, I will not be home till 9pm today, I am going to the port, there was something wrong with the clearance of our new goods, and I need to go there and see for myself" said Dom.
"Oh alright then young Master, please be safe on the road" said Alfred.
"Thank you Alfred" said Dom.
"Tell Joy that I will not be able to give her goodnight kiss to her, and that I will be back soon" said Dom.
"Alright Young Master, I will do so" said Alfred.
"Do you want me to Inform the Master?" asked Alfred.
"No, I will do it myself Alfred" said Dom.
"Alright Young Master" said Alfred.
"Alright, Bye Alfred, thank you" said Dom.
"No problem Young Master" said Alfred as he smiled and Dom ended the call.
"This is not how I envisioned my Saturday" said Dom as he sighed and he shut down his laptop as he stood up and he checked his watch, the time was 11am, the port was about a 2.5 drive from the city, and on top of that he did not know how long it would take to clear up all this misunderstandings, and then he also had to drive back to the city, so he was sure he would not return anytime early today.
"Well what can I do?" asked Dom to himself as he walked out of his office.

"Do you have everything you need?" asked Dom as he looked at the Secretary as she was standing beside his car waiting for him.
"Yes I do Sir" said the Secretary as she nodded her head.
"Good, because we are not coming back here today, I doubt there would be time for that" said Dom.
"Yes I know Sir" said the Secretary as she nodded her head.
"I also decided to bring along the legal contract between us and the ship, and of course the recorded verbal agreement between us that includes the stern warning we gave on our instructions so ship nothing else but the materials, just in case we need something legal to prove our innocence" said the Secretary.
"That is good of you, yes, I am sure we would need that, and it is more than enough proof" said Dom.
"Good Job" said Dom as he smiled.
"Thank you Sir" said the Secretary as she smiled.
"Sir, if thing are going to get legal, is it not best that we ask the company Lawyer to come along with us?" asked the Secretary.
"Well yes that would have been good, but Mr. Robbie's wife just gave birth, and he asked to use his paternal leave" said Dom.
"Oh yes, I forgot about that Sir" said the Secretary.
"Yes, but regardless we better get going now, because there is no way I am letting them destroy over a million dollars' worth of materials" said Dom seriously as opened his car door.
"Yes sir" said the Secretary as she entered Dom's car, and Dom entered and he started the car.

Later that Day.
The Moon had already sealed Its place in the night sky, and the stars followed after it, everyone was already asleep at this time, but for someone in particular he was just getting home.
He opened the front door of the house carefully so as not to wake anyone up, he sighed as he entered the house and he was on his way up the stairs when he was suddenly stopped.
"Young Master you have finally returned" said Alfred as he caught sight of Dom.
"Oh Alfred, I thought you would have gone to bed by now" said Dom as he turned back to face Alfred.
"Well no Young Master I was waiting for you" said Alfred.
"Well there was no need for you to do that Alfred" said Dom as he smiled.
"It is no problem at all, so how was the emergency?" asked Alfred as he took Dom's blue suit jacket that he was holding in his hand.
"Well we managed to clear everything up, after a long tedious talk and presenting all our evidences" said Dom as he rubbed his eyes he was tired of driving.
"That is good news to hear" said Alfred as he smiled.
"Yes Alfred, although I had to pay a fine, and after that I had to drop off my secretary at home, and then I drove back here" said Dom as he yawned.
"Young Master do you want anything to eat?" asked Alfred as he saw that Dom looked very tired.
"Well no thank you Alfred, I don't have an appetite" said Dom as he yawned.
"All I want to do right now is sleep, and you should do the same" said Dom as he yawned once again.
"Alright Young Master Goodnight" said Alfred as he smiled.
"Goodnight Alfred" said Dom as he walked up the stairs to the east wing and Alfred walked in the direction of the laundry room.

The Next Afternoon.
"Hello, Good Afternoon" said Natasha as she smiled and she spoke to the woman at the front desk.
"Good Afternoon" said the woman as she looked at Natasha with seriousness.
"I am here to see Pete" said Natasha.
"Who??" asked the woman.
"Oh sorry, I am here to meet Commander Peter Lawson" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Do you have an official appointment?" asked the woman coldly.
"Well not exactly, but just tell him that Natasha is here to see him" said Natasha as she smiled and she did not mind the woman's cold look at all, she was in a happy mood.
"Alright" said the woman as she picked up the phone.
"Hello Sir" aid the woman as Natasha looked around, the Police station was very busy, and it was filled with many police officers all doing their own things.
"There is a woman who goes by the name Natasha, she does not have an appointment an…" said the woman as she was cut off.
"What did you say Sir?" asked the woman as she could not believe it.
"I said let her in" came Pete's commanding voice.
"Alright Sir" said the woman as she placed the phone back down on the table.
"He says that you can go in" said the woman.
"Thank you" said Natasha as she smiled at the woman and she walked in the direction of Pete's office.

"Come in" came Pete's voice as he was working on some paperwork.
"How's my favourite commander?" asked Natasha as she smiled and she walked into his office.
"I am the only commander you know" said Pete as he looked up and he smiled at Natasha.
"Alright true, but even if I knew any other commander, you would still be my favourite" said Natasha as she smiled and she sat down across Pete's desk.
"Alright, enough with the sweet words, I know that you are just saying all this because you want what you came here for" said Pete as he laughed.
"I am guilty as charged, although you know I mean all the words I say" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Mhmm" said Pete as he smiled.
"So do you have it?" asked Natasha as she smiled.
"Umm…" said Pete.
"Oh come on Pete" said Natasha as she frowned at him.
"Oh well alright, it is here" said Pete as he smiled and he brought out something that resembled a driver's licence.
"Your official firearms license" said Pete.
"You are now officially, under the law, allowed to own and use a gun" said Pete as he looked at the happy expression on Natasha's face as she smiled joyfully.
"Oh thank you Pete, thank you, thank you" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Give me a hug and I can rest easy knowing you won't go shooting anyone anyhow" said Pete as he smiled.
"Oh Pete" said Natasha as she smiled and she stood up and hugged Pete as he sat down.
"Thank you" she said once again as she gave him a kiss on the cheek which made him smile.
"Is that enough now?" asked Natasha.
"One more kiss and…" said Pete as he was cut off.
"Oh stop it Pete" said Natasha as she hit him on the chest and she laughed.
"I can dream can I not?" asked Pete as he laughed and Natasha sat back down.
"Well I am snapping you out of your dreams" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Harsh Nat, harsh" said Peter as he smiled.
"So how are your date plans going?" asked Natasha as she smiled.
"Well they are going good, we decided to meet on Tuesday" said Pete.
"That is great news" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Yes" said Pete.
"Now I can legally use your gun hehe" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Oh please Nat stop, you are making me regret that you can use a gun now" said Pete as he sighed and he shook his head.
"Oh relax Pete, I will be fineee" said Natasha as she laughed and Pete shook his head, he hoped he made a good decision.
