Capítulo 48: Funny
"My baby" called Natasha as she looked down at Joy, she had returned from her little outing to the hardware store with Pete.
"Yes Mommy" replied Joy as she looked up at her mother.
"Why don't we go to the park today??" asked Natasha as she smiled.
"Really??" asked Joy in shock.
"Can we really mommy??" asked Joy with wide eyes.
"Haha of course, why not my baby??" asked Natasha as she laughed, the shocked look on Joy's face was just soo cute.
"Yayyyyyy" said Joy as she jumped up for Joy, she could not remember the last time she went to the Park.
"So my baby, go change and wear your shoes, so we can go" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Okay Mommy!!" said Joy as she nodded and she ran immediately to the stairs to go to her room.
Natasha was sure that if Joy's little feet could move any faster they would have already been out the door by now.
"Slow down my baby" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Okay Mommy" said Joy as she turned back to look at her mother and she smiled.
"I love you mommy" said Joy as she smiled at her mother.
"I love you too my baby, so go now and wear your shoes" said Natasha as she smiled and Joy giggled and did as she was told.
"Oh my baby, what would I be without you?" said Natasha to herself as she sighed and smiled.
Natasha knew that her life would have been very dull without Joy, and especially in this very dull house that had many painful memories, of arguments, crying, and well much more, her baby brought her Joy, just like her name she was a bundle of Joy.
She just lit up everywhere, with her cute eyes and her smile, and her overly smart way of thinking, she was a very smart girl, and she was also the only thing she and her so called husband agreed on.
Natasha laughed, it was funny to think that Joy was actually what caused their trouble, not to say that her baby herself caused the trouble, but it was the circumstances concerning her birth that made her and Dom not on the best of terms.
Natasha had decided that it was best for a child Joy's age to go out more frequently, so they could learn more about the world, and luckily for Natasha, their estate happened to have a very beautiful park with a playground, which was one of the other many reasons that she loved this estate, it reminded her of her own childhood, and she wanted her daughter to experience that too.
"Ahh Madam, are you going out again?" asked Alfred as he saw Natasha lost in thought as she was waiting besides the front door.
"Ahh yes Alfred, I am" said Natasha as she snapped out of her thoughts and she turned to look at Alfred.
"I am going to the Park with Joy, we should be back before Lunch time" said Natasha as she smiled, the time was currently 11:50am.
"Ahh I see Madam" said Alfred as he smiled, he did agree with Natasha, taking Joy to the park was a good idea, Joy knew the garden as well as she knew the back of her hand, she like all the flowers in the garden.
"Well enjoy going to the Park with Joy" said Alfred as he smiled.
"Thank you Alfred" said Natasha as she smiled and Alfred walked away.
"Mommy, Mommy" said Joy as she walked down the stairs cheerfully and she wore her little sneakers.
"Are you ready to go my baby?" asked Natasha.
"Mhm, yes mommy" said Joy as she nodded her head excitedly.
"Okay my baby let's go" said Natasha as she held Joy's hand and they walked out the door.
...
"What about my wife??" asked Dom as he looked at Mason suspiciously.
"Well Sir, this morning, I saw her in the hardware store" said Mason as he took a deep breath.
"And well, I saw her with another man, and they looked very close" said Mason.
"To get straight to the point, your wife is cheating on you sir" said Mason straightforwardly, and Dom just kept quiet.
"And before you say anything Sir, I have proof" said Mason a he quickly got his phone out and he pressed the picture he had taken.
"I took this picture as soon as I saw them together" said Mason.
"Here sir, please look at the picture" said Mason as he slide his phone from across the direction he was sitting on Dom's desk, to where Dom was sitting.
Dom looked very serious and cold, he picked up the phone, he could not believe that Natasha would dare cheat on him, after all the things she had done, and for her to even think of cheating on him, was impossible, he did not believe this at all, but yet he felt like he had to see this for himself.
Dom raised the phone up and he took a look at the picture, and what he saw made him start to laugh very hard.
"Hahaha" said Dom as he laughed, and Mason was left speechless, did the Dom run mad because he saw the Madam with another woman???
"Umm Sir, I know that it is hard to believe, but please calm down" said Mason as he tried to calm down Dom, maybe Lexi and Amalia were right, he should not have gotten himself involved, because now he would be charged for turning the boss mad.
As if Dom did not hear him, he kept on laughing and laughing, and it was at that point that Mason realized that he should have just kept to himself, now he had made the Boss run mad.
"Sir, please stop laughing it's not funny at all" said Mason as he looked concerned.
"No, because this is very funny" said Dom as he calmed himself down.
"You really have a broad imagination for you to think that far" said Dom as he laughed once again before he totally calmed down.
"But Sir" said Mason as he was utterly confused.
"But nothing" said Dom as he interrupted Mason.
"That man is not my wife's lover" said Dom as he was still smiling from all the laughing.
"That is her friend, Peter Lawson, who also happens to be the commander of Police" said Dom.
"I also know him, he and my wife are very close" said Dom as he laughed and he rubbed his eyes, it was as if Mason just came here to give him a good laugh.
Natasha could never cheat on him, and with Peter for that matter, they were like siblings, he knew him too, although they were not that close.
Mason was speechless, was that what made Dom laugh so much that he actually thought that he had gone mad??And to think that he was still defending the Madam.
"But Sir, this was very early in the morning, around 7am, and yet they were there together, and they look very happy" said Mason.
"And so??" asked Dom as he gave Mason back his phone.
"Sir no matter how close they are, that is just too close" said Mason.
"I mean, how can a married woman, go to the hardware store this early in the morning with another man??" asked Mason.
"It just is not sensible" said Mason.
"And since when did you start to keep tabs on my wife" asked Dom as he looked very serious.
"Ah Sir, no, no that's not it at all" said Mason.
"Then what is it?" asked Dom.
"It's just that..." said Mason.
"That you think my wife is cheating on me??" asked Dom.
"No, that is impossible, she can never do that" said Dom with so much confidence, he did not even know why he was defending her at all, after all, she and him were not on the best terms, and he could not trust her at all, as much as he wanted to.
The last time he trusted her, he ended up getting hurt in the worst possible way.
"But what makes you so sure Sir?" asked Mason as he was giving up.
"And what gives you the right to ask me such a question?" asked Dom as he was sure Mason was getting too comfortable.
"I am sorry sir but..." said Mason.
"But you are just someone very nosy, who does not know how to mind their own business" said Dom.
"You come in here, accusing the mother of my daughter of cheating on me, and when I tell you otherwise, you continue to speak as if I had ever asked for your opinion" said Dom as he looked very cold.
"I appreciate your loyalty, but I will not tolerate any disrespect" said Dom.
"So I ask you kindly to leave" said Dom.
"Yes Sir, I am sorry, please forgive me" said Mason as he stood up.
"I will take my leave now" he said as he began to walk away.
"Better" said Dom as Mason closed the door behind him, and as soon as he was sure that Mason was long gone, he began to laugh.
"Cheat on me??? with Peter??" he asked to himself mockingly as he laughed and he got back to work.
