The whole time, he pretended that he was asleep. It was the easiest way out.

Chris had never taken an action before. He had always liked someone, watching them from afar.

That was what he always did. Not taking a step closer towards someone else made him feel safe. The company had never allowed its trainees to date someone else inside the company.

But now that their debut was already nearing, there was no way he could even date, much more have the luxury to fall in love.

Chris didn't even know but it has been a while since he had felt this way. It's been years since he had ever considered getting close with another female again.

The last time he had fallen in love was a bittersweet love. He had always thrown himself in front of love. He never really considered falling in love ever again or even looking at another female on a romantic relationship level.
