Power Scale
We all know Fairytail basically ignores power scales and natsu and friends win every important fight with the power of friendship a.k.a. Nakama power so i'm basically making my own power scale, enjoy.
Apprentice mages: Those who have just started learning or have newly awakened their magic. F-rank mages.
Novice mages: Basically people who can use one or two spells. Simply put they can do magic tricks like lighting a fire, or levitating books etc. Mobs at best. E-rank mages.
Normal mages: They are cannon fodder and basic foot soldiers of any guild or organisation. Most mages fall in this category. D and C-rank mages
Expert mages: Mages who have gained experience and reputation, and are fairly powerful. They are important members in any guild or organisation. B-rank mages.
Elite mages: They are the backbone on any organisation or guilds and some are even leaders of their organisation or Guild masters. A-rank mages, example: Erigor of Eisenwald, Natsu before tenrou arc, Gray before tenrou arc, Leon, Juvia and element 4 members, Gajeel before tenrou arc.
Master mages: Mages who have mastered their magic and are capable of destroying entire cities. Mostly guild masters or leaders of their organisation. Example: Most guild masters, Magic Council members, Members of Grimoire Hearts, Members of Oracion seis. S-rank mages
Saint Mages: Mages who have surpassed their limits and grown to new heights, capable of wiping out multiple cities. Example: Ten wizard saints, Hades, Brain/Zero, Tartaros. SS-rank mages.
Ascended mages: Mages who have ascended their magic and could basically be demi-gods compared to others. They can destroy entire continents if they wished. Example: Spriggan 12. SSS-rank mages.
Godly mages: Mages who have entered the realm of Gods as their magic can wipe out entire civilisations and cause destruction to the entire world. Example: Irene Belserion full power, Zeref, Acnalogia normal form. X-rank mages
Apocalypse: Basically when Acnalogia consumes the 'Space between Time'. Can destroy the very fabric of space time and destroy whole dimensions.
XX-rank mages.

Baneofthedragon Hey there readers. I suddenly had a thought about what if and here we have it, a fairytail fanfic.
