Capítulo 24: Chapter 24

SELENE

The guards dragged me back to the cell. I figured out that no matter how much I shout and beg them to leave me, they'll not leave me alone. They kept dragging me to the cell.

"Please, please, okay... you're hurting me. Let me walk and I'll cooperate," I said as I wiped the tears that welled up in my eyes away. They didn't listen to me, they kept on dragging me to the cell even when I decided to cooperate. It seemed like they were bonded to their Master commands.

I figured this out a long time, but still. I wasn't so convinced, not until after what just happened, not until after Devon just killed a man right in front of me and for my sake.

Although he had no evidence, he still went to tell Devon about what he saw. He didn't think about his life first and the thought of it made the tears that I fought back fall down my eyes like rolling balls.

I was pushed into the cell and they locked the cell room door. The guards left me on the floor in tears. After a few seconds of crying, I wiped the tears from my eyes.

"This is a moment where I ought to be strong and not the other way round," I thought and stood to my feet. I was feeling hot, so I unzipped my dress and took it off, leaving me with only my inner dress.

I turned to keep it on the floor when I heard a voice from behind me. "What do you think you're doing?" I staggered back and swiftly turned to see who it was.

"Venia," I uttered in anger and placed my hand on my chest, trying to catch my breath.

"Surprised?" Venia asked, arching her eyebrow

"What is it?" I asked, damn!!! I hate demons and their ability to vanish anywhere I want.

"What do you plan on doing? Huh? You want to seduce the guards here so that you can escape." Venia's words sent shivers down my spine, I was hurt but I refused to let it show. I ignored her and sat on the floor.

"I'm right? Just the way you seduced Devon, you want to seduce them too. How cheap are you? My gosh!" She said and gritted her teeth. She paced back and forth in the cell room and continued ranting, "You'll remain in this cell! You'll rot here and make sure of it"

VENIA

Selene didn't utter a single word and got me pissed. "Are you deaf or dumb, huh? Oh, I see," I continued as I squatted and stared into her eyes. "All your plans have failed right, that's the reason you fell so weak."

I smirked and brought my hands closer to her face to touch it, but she turned her face away from me, causing me to chuckle

"I know how you feel, helpless!" I spat.

"A guard was killed right in front of you. How do you feel when you know that it was all because of you?" I asked, but still got no response from her.

After talking for minutes, and I got no response from her, I hissed and vanished out of the room

SELENE

After she left the cell, I narrowed my eyes and heaved a long sigh of relief. Heaven knows that I hate her guts and everything about her. She thinks that she's so powerful when she's not.

"My gosh, when am I going to be out of this hellhole?" I said and clutched my fingers together in anger. My desperation to leave this place is the reason that the guard died. My desperation to leave this place is the reason I'm currently in this cell with no plan to get out.

My only hope was to pray that Devon would let me out of here. But still I was still determined to leave this place no matter what. I've started it and I must finish it. I must leave this place, especially now that someone died because of that sane desperation. I can't stop now.

DEVON

I threw the glass of wine to the wall in anger. I was anger and I could break anything right now.

"Abadon!!!!" I yelled and used my hands to crunch the bottle of wine into pieces.

"Sire!" Abadon appeared in the room before I could blink my eyes. He was the second in command and most trusted man. Abadon is the only person that gives me advice that i take.

"Calm down Devon, calm down," He said, causing me to turn to face him. "Calm down?" I arched my eyebrow.

"You should be fierce whenever you talk to Selene. She's taking your niceness for granted and it's making you look weak," Devon said. I paused and swiftly moved towards my bed and sat on it.

"Weak?" I asked, trailing my hands on the bed, imagining that I'm trailing those hands on Selene's boobs.

"Yes, it makes you seem weak around her and that's why she's so stubborn, i honestly think that you did the best thing by locking her up, although i know that she won't stay for long," Abadon continued with a straight face, "And she was scared, she was scared when you killed that man and I'm sure that gave her a different impression of you"

"So what you do suggest I do?" I asked, feeling calm and chilled. I walked towards my bar counter and toom a drink from the bar counter in my room. I poured two glasses of wine and passed on to abadon and he accepted it.

"Cheers to more wins and wisdom," Abadon said, and I clicked my glass on his

"I'll have received and give her just one last chance but if she doesn't agree then I'll go hard on her," A smirk appeared on my face as i revealed my intentions to Abadon

"Perfect sire, you make the best choices," Abadon said, and I grinned before sipping from the red wine.
