Capítulo 138: Secrets Between Friends

For a moment, no words came as she stared at Galen. 

"H-how did you know that?" she asked. 

Apparently, he knew a lot more than he led on. She wouldn't have to reveal any secrets that the guard didn't already know. 

Galen shook his head and laughed as he reached for more of the ale and filled his glass to the top. 

"Varya, all I do is sit around and listen to people," he said. "If I didn't pay attention to what you guys talked about then I would be bored to death." 

Varya rested her elbows on the table and put her face in her hands. The thought of him knowing so much stressed her out almost as much as the situation between Kruos and Ebari. 

"I just can't understand someone as good as Ebari falling for someone as horrible as that bastard," Varya admitted with a frown. "I get it though. There's not much to choose from in space especially not someone who fits his tastes."
