Capítulo 1: Prologue
A young man in a green and silver outfit stood amid the chaotic Tian Ting, covered in blood and a lot of corpses. Even his entire body was covered with spots of it as a sword dripped with blood was held in his trembling hands. His eyes were filled with traces of fear after staring at the scene in front of him.
But he wasn't trembling because of the chaos. Instead, he was trembling because of the cold and indifferent gaze being darted toward him by another beautiful man standing in front of him. Sure, the man in green had been looked at indifferently by that person several times, but the intensity of that was greater than before because a trace of anger filled the depths of those beautiful phoenix eyes.
What's more… The indifferent man, wearing a red outfit, was also on the verge of death. There was a deep wound on his stomach, so deep that it was impossible to heal. Not that the man in green could find a God of medicines in such a short time to heal him.
No, wait a moment. He killed the God of medicines a while ago….
The man dressed in green robes stared at the chaos with a trace of coldness in his eyes. He hadn't expected this situation to occur, but what else could he do? He was forced…. But even then, he couldn't bear to open his mouth in front of the man dressed in red.
What had he done?
He should have killed himself. At the very least, he wouldn't have been subjected to that kind of cold and angry gaze, the kind of glance at made him want to die and destroy everything in an instant. Those eyes simply said one thing: The man in red hated him to death and wouldn't stop hating the other for all of eternity.
"Xuan Hao, ah Xuan Hao." The man in red finally opened his mouth and said as traces of anger leaked from his mouth, "Why didn't you die before even thinking of destroying this place? This was my home, my Tian Ting, the place where my father Jade Emperor ruled for a long, long time. But you…. Why?"
Why?
Funny. This person out of everyone was asking. The man in green felt amused but at the same time, his heart ached because of his current situation. The man in red wasn't aware of this, and the other man refused to let him on it any further.
Even then, Xuan Hao only smiled mildly, saying not a single word.
That smile irritated the man in red even more. He trembled from head to toe, and even though he was covered in blood, he still looked extremely beautiful, so handsome that he still made Xuan Hao dazed upon a single glance.
Xuan Hao continued to stare as if he wanted to hug the man to his heart's content, but he knew this was probably the last time he would witness the beauty of this enchanting young God. His heart twisted in pain so much that he couldn't stand it. Tears threatened to pour down the corners of his eyes, but he still took a deep breath, hiding his emotions behind that mild smile of his so that the other couldn't figure out his emotions.
His gaze traveled to that deep sword wound on the man's stomach as his face paled even more.
That wound….
Xuan Hao made that wound.
He was responsible for this.
His breathing became chaotic as he lowered his head. His hands gripped the sword as it trembled. He finally opened his mouth and said, "Ah Wei…. Kill me."
The man in red was stunned, but the next second, the level of anger he felt in his heart spiked up even more, so much so that he laughed out loud. He still clutched his deep wound as he stumbled forward until he was directly in front of the man.
Tears rolled down his cheeks as he stared into the man's eyes with utter hatred, the kind of emotions that couldn't vanish no matter what. That kind of gaze made Xuan Hao feel heavy in his chest so much that he found it hard to breathe.
After that, he didn't dare to look into the other's eyes anymore. If possible, he would rather erase his own existence if the man hated him so much.
But he couldn't. Not by himself.
Since Ah Wei hated him so much, he would simply let the man vent the hatred onto him.
But Ah Wei clearly had a different idea in his head. He grabbed the other's sword with his weak and trembling hands and spoke through his gritted teeth, saying, "Then I shall fulfill this wish of yours, but listen to me Xuan Hao, I won't let you die easily. I curse you from here onward that you shall always remain in the mortal plane devoid of your memories and your Godhood, living like a log of wood, without any emotions, with absolute indifference, and your heart will remain cold for all of eternity!"
He coughed out traces of blood in his hand as he continued. "But for the sake of our friendship, I shall also grant you a boon in the form of a system to fulfill your obsessions. Since you're so obsessed with destroying things, go and destroy all you want!
"Since you are so obsessed with demonic ways, go and become a demon lifetime after lifetime! This is your obsession fulfilling system that'll drag you to hell lifetime after lifetime until you change your obsession someday and manage to ascend to the heavens!"
As soon as he spoke, a trace of golden light emerged from Ah Wei's body, silently entering Xuan Hao's as the latter's silver hair fluttered behind him. Suddenly, he let out a smile as he raised his fingers, caressing Ah Wei's cheeks softly.
Then he said as his heart shattered in his chest, "So be it."
