Capítulo 39: Keepers of royal constitution
In Okabi Royal Palace, King Zarius is heavily concerned, talking to Conor and Master Gareth. Suddenly, a group of old folks walks in, bowing down and saying, "All Hail King Zarius."
King Zarius looks upward, saying, "Keepers of the Constitution, I take it you got the report then."
They reply calmly, "Yes, your Majesty."
King Zarius is still looking upward, saying, "Then start preparation."
Inaki rushes in, saying loudly, "Are you really going to pass judgment on someone who can't even say a word in his defense right now?"
The Keepers of the Constitution reply respectfully, "We have no choice, Lord Inaki. We didn't act the last time Lord Polin got captured for this reason. But he escaped as soon as he healed. He has been accused of multiple crimes against the state. Moreover..."
King Zarius interrupts, saying in a heavy voice, "Enough."
Inaki shouts at King Zarius, saying, "Father, how can you let this happen? Why don't you..."
King Zarius interrupts him, saying, "Inaki, you are too young to understand all this."
Inaki snorts louder, saying, "I have the right to know; I'm the Crown Prince."
King Zarius shouts at Inaki this time, "Enough, Inaki."
The next moment, Inaki leaves the hall brimming with rage. He exits the palace, jumps on his brown horse, and moves toward the jungle with high speed. Inaki reaches a beautiful spot within the jungle. He jumps off his horse, calms down, and tears flow from his eyes at the same time. Inaki starts having sweet memories of him and his brother playing in that spot of the jungle floating before his eyes. He screams in a desperate voice, sits on the ground, and starts punching the ground, "I'm sorry, brother. I'm too weak to do anything for you. I'm sorry, I'm sorry."
On the other side, in a huge hall, Polin is lying on a bed placed in the center of that hall, surrounded by all the Keepers of the Constitution.
One of them says loudly, "Zarius Polin, we shall now pass judgment on you. For the crime of killing the former Grand General, trying to save a human who assaulted the state, defying royal constitution and royal orders, and traveling to Dresha multiple times misusing royal blood, and being accused of possessing a Life Stone and giving it away to Dresha, Zarius Polin, you are sentenced to death. But since the criminal is in eternal sleep, he will be executed the next moment he wakes up. Until then, he will be locked in the darkest cell of Infinity Prison. That is all."
King Zarius is outside the hall, hearing everything, not showing any emotions. Master Gareth asks, "Are you alright, your Majesty?" King Zarius takes a deep breath and remains silent.
On the other side, in the jungle, Inaki is mentally devastated. Suddenly, someone says from behind, "So, you want to be strong, eh?" It's Costa standing on a branch of a huge tree, looking straight at Inaki. Inaki glares at Costa, brimming with anger, "Whoever you are, leave me alone if you don't have a death wish."
