Capítulo 43: Chapter Forty-three: The Bay World! Release That Sprite

This latest blind box was even more extravagant in both size and weight, clearly several times larger than the previous one!

"Ha!"

Wang Hui spread his arms to grasp the recessed sections of the box, his muscles in his arms, back, and legs swelling with exertion as he dragged it into the courtyard in one breath! He securely locked the main door, then closed the awning that he had disturbed while climbing the wall.

Returning to the imposing box, a sense of anxious anticipation surged within him. "Let's unveil another miniature world!" He swiftly severed the binding ropes and peeled away the outer packaging, his eyes instantly brightening with excitement.

Before him was the familiar metallic surface and glass dome! The new miniature world measured five meters in length and three meters in width, making its area precisely five times that of the previous one! Had it not been for the wide entrance to his courtyard, maneuvering it inside would have proven quite challenging.

The internal terrain of this new world exhibited clear distinctions. Gone was the iconic "Y"-shaped Shinagawa River of the Clan World; instead, a vast bay immediately captured his gaze! Surrounding the bay was a ring of land that somewhat resembled the layout of the Mediterranean. However, unlike the Mediterranean, this land did not encircle the entire ocean; approximately 1.5 meters of the northwestern region remained entirely composed of seawater. Thus, referring to it as the Bay World seemed most fitting.

When proportionately enlarged, the main landmass was roughly equivalent to seven or eight ordinary prefectural cities in the outside world, comparable in size to Hainan Province. The area of the bay was similar to that of the land, dotted with numerous islands of various sizes, totaling nearly a hundred. The Bay World also featured a small sun and a small moon that alternately rose and fell, indicating that the passage of time was akin to that in the Clan World.

Wang Hui slid open the glass on the western side, synchronizing the flow of time. Emerging from the fast-forward state, the minute creatures were no longer shrouded in obscurity. He retrieved a magnifying glass and eagerly examined them up close.

After a moment, surprise crossed Wang Hui's face. "The civilization in this world appears to have developed for quite some time. Judging by the architectural styles and the attire and demeanor of its inhabitants, it bears resemblance to the medieval period of the outside world."

Moreover…

His hand holding the magnifying glass paused. He noticed two factions engaged in combat in the eastern region, both comprised of heavily armored knights. As the leader bellowed and swung his sword, a visible burst of light erupted! This was clearly a manifestation of extraordinary power, reminiscent of the battles between the divine servant and Gulu Mi!

There were also several wizards clad in robes and pointed hats, brandishing staffs that conjured flames and fierce winds—an impressive display!

"How intriguing…"

Wang Hui's interest deepened as he observed. This was certainly a new world ripe for exploration!

His gaze shifted to the clouds above, where a thick tapestry of translucent luminescence hinted at the accumulated source energy! However, when Wang Hui reached out to absorb it, he felt no response.

"Is it that I cannot freely absorb the source energy from the clouds until I acquire the sacred artifact of this world?"

He circled the glass dome and discovered a dim pattern etched into the metallic surface on the side. The design resembled a pair of ancient, stylized eyes, exuding an inexplicable sense of depth.

"It remains unclear whether this artifact resembles a statue akin to the Yin-Yang Fish or something entirely different…"

Wang Hui pressed his hand against the metallic surface, experiencing the familiar sensation of consciousness descending. Whether it was a wolf's den or a tiger's lair, entering would reveal the truth!

...

In the Bay World, within the Kingdom of Storms.

As the most powerful maritime kingdom among the four, it boasted a bustling port where hundreds of ships arrived and departed daily. The citizens felt little concern about being raided at sea, naturally leading many to engage in fishing.

On this particular dusk, numerous fishing boats returned laden with catches, dragging boxes of goods to the temporary warehouses of the Reverse Wind Port. It wouldn't be long before these fresh products were snatched up, transported to various retail outlets for profit.

"Hey, my dear old John, what treasures did you haul in today?"

"Don't even mention it! We encountered a damned undercurrent on our return trip, and the hull got damaged, losing quite a bit of cargo—what a nightmare!"

Familiar shipowners exchanged pleasantries when suddenly a loud "bang" drew all eyes toward the source.

"What in the world was that?"

"It looks like a flash of light struck the warehouse…"

"Could it be an attack from the Thunder Kingdom?"

"Are you joking? Those barbarians lack the capability to breach our knightly defenses!"

"Let's go take a look; I still have my cargo in the warehouse, and if something goes awry, the lord will surely give me a good kicking!"

...

The dock erupted into chaos; most gathered to gawk, while a few rushed over in concern for the safety of their goods. Meanwhile, Wang Hui found himself unexpectedly in the warehouse, glancing up at the gaping hole he had created, then surveying the surrounding shelves brimming with seafood, he couldn't help but sigh.

"On my first visit to the Bay World, must it be so pungent?"

He brushed off an octopus that had wrapped itself around his neck and rose from the pile of fish he had inadvertently crushed. Hearing the rapidly approaching clamor outside, Wang Hui prepared to find a moment to slip away unnoticed. This time, he likely wouldn't be as fortunate as he had been in the Clan World, where he had received the sacred artifact from Zuo Qiu Yue upon arrival.

Here, in this unfamiliar place, it was far wiser to remain inconspicuous!

As he stealthily made his way along the wall toward the back window of the warehouse, Wang Hui paused, catching sight of two individuals engaged in a covert exchange.

"What was that noise just now? Justin, are you plotting against me? Didn't you say there was no competition for this new merchandise?"

The speaker was a pale, portly man whose anxiety was palpable as he scanned the surroundings suspiciously while muttering curses. Across from him stood a slender youth named Justin, who shrugged. "Baron Wayne, everyone knows I conduct business fairly at Reverse Wind Port. This is a precious item I went to great lengths to procure from the Dark Kingdom! If you cannot promptly pay the rightful price, I cannot guarantee I will ignore other bids."

"Here, here! But I need to see it first…"

Baron Wayne angrily thrust two bags of coins toward him, lifting the lid of the nearby cargo box. To his astonishment, it revealed an elf with pointed ears and a look of sheer terror!

Seeing this scene unfold, Wang Hui boldly intervened, his voice booming, "Release that sprite!"

The sudden shout startled Baron Wayne, causing him to shudder, his heart nearly leaping into his throat. "…Who?!"

Yet, when he turned, he could only catch a glimpse of a fleeting shadow. Moments later, he felt a painful pressure as his plump belly caved in!

"Ah—"

Baron Wayne collapsed to the ground, emitting a heart-wrenching scream!

Across from him, Justin's eyes widened as he realized he had encountered someone far beyond his means to contend with; he hastily attempted to seize the goods and flee.

However, his hands grasped at nothing…

The elf in the box had vanished!

Smack!

A fierce gust of wind rushed toward him, and Justin had no time to react before a resounding slap knocked him to the ground!

"Pfft…"

Spitting out two bloodied teeth, he felt his vision spin wildly, catching a blurred silhouette of a man carrying the elf as he leaped out of the warehouse window.

"That figure…"

Driven by some inexplicable impulse, Justin clumsily scrambled to his feet and stumbled after him, tumbling out of the back window…
