The Blacksmith Walker and the Engineer Walker — the only futurists among the Voidwalkers — paired up for most operations, but they had their differences. For one, the Engineer Walker was a Gentleman of the Void, but the Blacksmith Walker did not share this taste. Both Voidwalkers also had different views on what constituted the pinnacle of technology. This simulation had presented the perfect opportunity to decide if enormous 'ultimate weapons' were better than regular paramilitary tools.

KafkaOfTheRubbles Yea, “a world completely controlled by humans” sounds nice and everything, but I think that’s *all* it is; it sounds as nice as a JRPG ending card. But in the real world, anthropogenic control continues to expand. I’m sure you can decide if the world is better or worse for it. Instead of “a world completely controlled by humans,” I rather a world where humans take responsibilities for what they do and who they are. Why hand us control, if we don’t even know how to be responsible for our own actions and results?
