With the two people's sudden appearance, he drew up his horse and straightened his back as he stared down at both of them, exuding arrogance. 

Chu Li did a fist salute. "Minister Counsellor Gu, where are you headed to? Why are you alone?" 

His Omniscient Mirror scanned their surroundings and found no martial art master within five miles radius. Gu Qi was really traveling on his own, this was different from what he imagined. 

"Head Chief Chu, Chu Li!" Gu Qi shot a cold glance at Chu Li then settled his gaze on Lu Yurong's bright eyes and asked, "This lady is…?" 

Lu Yurong stared back wordlessly. 

Chu Li questioned, "Minister Counsellor Gu, I'm curious, why did you betray Great Ji?"
