Bastian let go of her, staring intently at her expression. Despite her smile, there was obvious concern in her eyes.

"Don't worry. Your worrying won't necessarily help Emily get better; it'll just add to your own burden. Don't forget, you're pregnant!" He frowned, trying to reassure her.

Hearing this, Tara was taken aback, looking at his furrowed brows, her mouth turned up in a smile, "Bastian, you've really matured a lot!"

Just like he said, his mental age had reached thirty-five, no longer impulsive, he had become very steady.
