Emerging from the alleyway, they happened upon an intersection where the side of the street opened onto a small park. Despite its size, the park was quite charmingly decorated. However, since it was nighttime, there was hardly anyone to be seen.

Tian Lie looked around, surveying his surroundings.

Before him lay the road that edged near the River Thames, a route with little variation.

"What a nice spot for an ambush," Tian Lie whistled casually.

He pointed to a bench next to the street park, "You all sit here and wait for a bit."

Tom Hawkins had a complex expression on his face, "Do you really not plan to run away?"

Tian Lie didn't speak, merely gesturing silently towards the bench.

Tom Hawkins sighed and tugged at his wife, Jenny.

Yet Jenny didn't budge; instead, she softly pulled Lin Leyan towards her.

Lin Leyan still looked somewhat dazed. Then Jenny led her by the hand into the street park.
