Sisi widened her eyes and looked back again. "Nana, when will Daddy wake up?"
His mother rolled her eyes. "Why do you only know how to look for your daddy?"
His father doted on his granddaughter. He immediately shouted to the bedroom, "Little Ye, your daughter is looking for you."
After a while, Zhang Ye came out in his pajamas, yawning.
Sisi jumped off Wu Zeqing's lap and ran straight for Zhang Ye. "Daddy!"

Legge While I do not wish to argue about how people can forget an S-list star like Zhang Ye in three years, I would like to list out some of the reasons that readers have pointed out (which I kinda agree to a certain extent):
- Three years is not long for most of us, but for a celebrity, time passed is exponential.
- The students who did not recognize him used to be younger fans of his and their attention could be easily grabbed away by the more popular newcomers.
- How many times have you encountered a celebrity in real life only to question whether they were THAT celebrity you thought they were? As the saying goes, a person looks different on camera/television. Similarly, that could have happened in this situation on the bus when Zhang Ye rode with the new pro Go students to the resort. Furthermore, he was wearing his aviator sunglasses which covered half his face too. (then you multiply that by the factor of stupidity of the people in this world and voila, you've now reconciled how this situation could have happened.)
- The adults (mainly the veteran Go players) were not exactly part of this group that forgot about him. It was more of how they didn't expect him to be released so quickly from jail, so their thoughts never went in that direction.
