So, the last phrase about ‘People at birth, are naturally good…’ comes from the Three Character Classic, or San Zi Jing in the raws. Now, this text is filled with many ideas of Confucianism and it is so significant in the Chinese culture that it was once used as the basis for elementary education in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Every single phrase comes in three words, as could be inferred from its name, and is easy to read. Therefore, even up till this day, most Chinese people would know of the first few phrases at the very least. However, the joke comes in the sense that compared to everything that the Thunder Trainer King has done, this is a form of training that is filled with morals and values.
