The Asmodian Lord activated the Originator Artifact. Xuan Energy circulated around his hand. As he poured the Xuan Energy inside, the wood carving emitted a blood-red light. Strands of dark air stream spread out from the Originator Artifact, accompanied by wails similar to that of ghosts and howls from bloodthirsty wolves. That noise was not loud, yet people in an area with a radius of three hundred miles could hear it as if it was right in their ears.

"That sound!"

Lu Li frowned, staying alert. He felt something wrong from that sound, something very wrong! The sound contained strange energy, something like divine energy!

"Plop, plop!"

In the cities, Asmodians were dropping to their knees one after another. Their eyes read fear as if they were all looking at the most appalling scenes in the world. Many shivered, their lips colorless, and their pupils contracted. They made no sound, though, and they appeared to be completely devout.
