The person Ougens thought of was the one manipulating everything from behind the scenes.
However the contestants struggled and fought, whatever they did, it all seemed to be within his expectation. Ougens felt like from the moment he entered this world, a giant web had entrapped him without him knowing it, and all his struggles and resistance did naught but help increase the strength of the web!
When Ougens stepped foot in this world, he received a main mission which had two branches he could choose from.
Branch A was to protect Kyle Reese and Sarah Connor.
Branch B was to join the Terminator's side and help the Terminator complete the assassination. However, the Terminator would attack all humans indiscriminately.
Like most people, Ougens was going to follow the normal plot progression and protect the hero and heroine. He would just follow the script and play it safe.
