As the battles raged, Lyrus received word from the Silent Executioners about divisions within the three empires. Some factions were calling for peace, while others pushed for war. Lyrus decided to exploit this discord.
He sent emissaries to Frostveil and the Aetherion Ascendancy with a simple message: "Amber Heavens does not seek conflict, but we will defend ourselves against aggression. Those who come in peace will be welcomed. Those who come in war will be destroyed."
In Frostveil, High Jarl Thrysk welcomed the emissaries, impressed by Lyrus' message of strength tempered with wisdom. "Perhaps Amber Heavens is not the enemy we assumed," he said to his council. "We should consider an alliance."
In the Aetherion Ascendancy, the message deepened the divide among the archmages. Some pushed to send their own envoys to Amber Heavens, while others argued for immediate action.
The Aurion Dominion, however, remained defiant. Emperor Caelthar saw Lyrus' message as a challenge. "Amber Heavens will not intimidate us," he declared. "We will show them the might of the sun."
As the empires debated their next moves, Amber Heavens stood ready, its forces stronger than ever. Lyrus, watching from the Sanctuary of Light, prepared for both war and diplomacy, knowing that the future of his empire would soon be decided.
