Capítulo 8: Manga

Staring at the system screen, I contemplated. Publishing all these manga at once seemed unrealistic. However, it felt like a waste to release just one. After some thought, I decided to introduce three manga simultaneously for the initial launch: Naruto, Your Name, and Doraemon. Why three? To give readers a choice based on their preferred genres. The rest would be released one by one later.

I also didn't want to overexert myself. I'd worked hard enough to the point of missing out on life's joys. Now, it was time to find balance.

"It's okay to work a bit harder for this first effort; after all, I'm genuinely excited to start. Plus, I have the system's Speed Quill, which will let me finish faster," I reassured myself, feeling increasingly confident. "Alright, time to begin."

One Week Later

After dinner, as promised, I gathered everyone in the living room. The entire family had assembled, and I could sense their anticipation. Liora, ever curious, couldn't resist speaking up first.

"So, Dad, what's this big idea you've been talking about? I've been working on and researching the blueprints you gave me. I know it's an amazing tool and will definitely help, but I'm confused about why you need it," Liora asked eagerly.

I chuckled, recalling how she'd been asking the same question non-stop all week. "Patience, dear. Everything will be revealed soon."

Taking a deep breath, I continued, "Alright, here's the deal. A week ago, I realized something was missing in our world. Something important, something that could make life feel more vibrant... entertainment."

Everyone fell silent, intrigued by what I would say next.

"I know there are already theater performances, oral legends, music and dance, festivals, even circuses. But I wanted more. I wanted entertainment that could be enjoyed anytime, anywhere, whenever someone had a moment of leisure. Something more accessible that could bring people closer together," I explained, my eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

All eyes were on me now, their attention fully focused.

"And this is the result. I call it... Manga," I said, placing the manga I had created on the table. I had also prepared several copies to share with them. Smiling widely, I felt proud of my accomplishment.

Initially, I underestimated the Speed Quill's power. I thought it would simply increase my drawing speed by a few times. Instead, it boosted my speed by a hundredfold! This allowed me to produce several copies of manga in a very short time.

I handed each of them a copy: Naruto Volume 1, Your Name, and Doraemon.

"These are the three manga I've written," I said, pointing to Naruto. "This manga tells the story of a boy named Naruto, who was ostracized by his village for certain reasons. He dreams of proving himself to the world. The story is set in a world of ninjas. You've probably heard of ninja legends from the past, right? I took inspiration from them."

Next, I pointed to Your Name. "This is the story of two teenagers, Taki and Mitsuha, who mysteriously switch bodies despite living in very different places—Taki in Carvalon and Mitsuha in a small village. They struggle to adapt to each other's lives, communicate through messages, and form a deep bond despite the distance. This story blends romance, drama, and mystery, exploring themes of fate, time, and human connection." I had slightly altered the setting to better fit this world.

Finally, I gestured toward Doraemon. "And this is Doraemon. It's about a boy named Nobita Nobi, who faces constant challenges in his life—both at school and with his friends. One day, he meets Doraemon, a cat robot from the future sent to help him. Doraemon uses various magical tools from his pouch to solve problems, improve Nobita's future, and help his friends—Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo—on adventures filled with humor and life lessons." I had adjusted the story slightly, replacing futuristic gadgets with magical tools drawn from Doraemon's pouch.

I looked at all of them, ready for their reactions. They were silent—not out of confusion, but from sheer amazement at the manga covers I had shown them. The covers weren't just ordinary drawings but lifelike, vibrant, and stunningly detailed works of art. Thanks to my entertainment skills and the system's Speed Quill, the illustrations had an extraordinary quality.

Liora, usually so expressive, could only gape in awe. "This... this is amazing, Dad! Is this book called... manga?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with admiration.

Roland, typically calm and composed, couldn't contain himself. "Dad, this... this is nothing like what we imagined! It's more than just drawings—it feels alive!" he exclaimed in astonishment.

Lumi, who had been playing with her dolls in the corner, suddenly approached with small, curious steps. Her big, bright eyes were filled with wonder. "Daddy, Lumi wants to see!" she chirped excitedly.

I smiled in satisfaction, thrilled by their reactions. "You haven't seen it all yet. This is just the beginning. Go ahead, read them," I said, eager to see their responses to the stories I had created.
