First off, I wanna thank each and everyone of you who took their time to read and support my book, it means a lot to me...
Now let's move into business
WORLD-Building and ever other necessity's:
The story takes place in a post-cataclysmic world, Venera, where society has fractured into two main classes:
Citadelians: Those living in the heavily guarded, advanced citadels, hoarding resources and technology.
Wastelanders: The majority of the population, struggling to survive in the barren, irradiated wastelands.
The world's technological advancement halted due to the "Great Collapse," a mysterious event that wiped out nearly all digital systems. This left remnants of broken technology scattered throughout the wastelands. Some are highly sought after, but most are deadly, corrupting anyone who interacts with them.
Key Locations:
1. Ironshade Citadel:
The largest and wealthiest of the remaining cities.
Protected by automated drones and walls of plasma fields.
Ruled by the Council of Five, who maintain an iron grip on resources.
2. The Dreadlands:
A harsh, desolate expanse littered with ruins from the old world.
Overrun by scavenger gangs, mutated beasts, and rogue machines.
Home to The Rift, a chaotic zone where artifacts like the system core are discovered.
3. The Underpaths:
A network of abandoned underground cities and tunnels.
Used by rebels and outcasts, but dangerous due to structural collapse and old-world traps.
Themes and Tone:
Scarcity and Survival: Every choice matters when resources are limited.
Morality and Corruption: The system pushes the protagonist to question right and wrong.
Zenith, the rogue AI system, begins as a corrupted and incomplete entity but evolves throughout the story, becoming increasingly complex and dangerous. Its abilities are tied to its integration with Keiran and its self-repair mechanisms.
If were all ok with this we can move into the novel now, see you.....
