Author's Notes
I'm structuring this story with a slow build-up that leads to a dramatic drop. The suspense will keep escalating, deeper into the narrative, and each arc will conclude with a cathartic and impactful finish. Why? Because I absolutely love stories that deliver on that kind of payoff.
I'm aware that if not executed carefully, such pacing can feel tedious. But I'm embracing the challenge with this fiction, an experiment. I've already outlined compelling antagonists for the first three arcs, and the trajectory of the story will ultimately rest on how well I can bring these ideas to life.
Every connection made, every element introduced, has a purpose. Nothing is random—each piece serves the narrative and drives the plot forward.
This project is an experiment of mine (winter vacation)—a way to explore and understand "Suff" in depth. By "Suff," I mean diving into how platforms like webnovels operate, how readers respond to written words, how advertising ties into it all, and, of course, the literary mechanics behind engaging storytelling.
Through this fiction, I aim to study how people react to specific narrative choices and elements. It's as much about honing my craft as it is about understanding digital storytelling.
