"Sol-sama! We're back!"

Riveria knocked twice on the door in quick succession. She didn't wait for a reply before hearing a soft, ambiguous voice from within, which left her slightly rattled.

She pushed the door open.

In the hall, Sol was lounging on the sofa, looking blissful as he embraced a fox-human girl with nine fluffy white tails.

In front of them, a heroic-looking girl danced gracefully, with unusual weapons floating around her, moving as if they were an extension of her body.

Not far off, there was a woman Riveria didn't recognize, surrounded by three dark purple magic orbs radiating a powerful, ominous energy.

"Hey! Riveria-chan, you're finally back! Great job out there!"

The sound of the door opening broke the atmosphere, and Sol immediately noticed Riveria's entrance.

With a hint of surprise on his face, he removed his hand from Ahri's waist and extended his arms toward Riveria, as if to hug her.

Unfortunately, his enthusiasm was met with a cold stare.

"It seems you've been living in a fantasy world while I was gone," Riveria said through gritted teeth, barely containing her annoyance.

Sigh, this god really is hopeless.

I was naive to expect more from him.

Sensing Riveria's cold demeanor, Sol quickly backed down, obediently waiting for her to speak.

"Really, shouldn't you introduce me to these people first?" Riveria sighed, her anger slightly subdued by Sol's sheepish expression.

He always did this. Every time she got angry, he'd put on that pitiful look.

Simply unfair!

Seeing her softened stance, Sol slipped an arm around her shoulders with a grin.

Riveria raised an eyebrow but didn't pull away.

"Oh, these are the ones I summoned from Ionia. This is Ahri, Irelia, and Syndra."

He then proceeded to introduce everyone in the room.

Yes, they were all the heroes Sol had summoned from Ionia.

The house had felt too empty before, so he'd gone ahead and summoned them earlier than planned. Originally, he'd intended to wait until Riveria returned from her expedition.

"You've been quite efficient. I wasn't gone long, and you've already summoned three of them."

"Actually, there are eleven now. Some of them went to explore the dungeon, and there are also four yordles who are staying here."

Riveria blinked in surprise, momentarily speechless.

She underestimated him. Her God has been busier than she thought.

"Why so many? Didn't you say creating a new world consumed a lot of energy?"

Sol puffed up his chest proudly. "I hunted down a bunch of 'Evil Gods' in one go. All their divine power went straight to me!"

Riveria's mind worked quickly, piecing together what Sol had said with the information she'd gathered in the dungeon.

Could it be that her God was the one responsible for dealing with Valletta and the others?

Her suspicions were confirmed when Sol admitted it outright, even expressing regret that he hadn't been able to collect the spoils from the 'Evil Gods.'

"It's fine if the spoils are gone," she replied, reassuringly. "With so much talent you've gathered, we only need to focus on growing stronger."

Wait, why am I comforting him? I should still be upset…

Riveria suddenly realized she'd fallen into Sol's pace without even noticing.

Oh well, by now, I should be used to it.

Gathering her thoughts, Riveria switched into a professional mode and introduced herself to the new arrivals, giving a brief but warm welcome as the Familia head.

She could see the potential in the talents Sol had summoned—she'd already seen the promise in the yordles he summoned before.

Though, those yordles had been a bit unruly.

Now, these new arrivals seemed a bit more refined, and all of them were from familiar races.

...

Before long, a commotion broke out in the courtyard.

Riveria stepped out of the hall and saw several unfamiliar figures in the middle of the yard, surrounded by Familia members who watched them with wary curiosity.

Four more had arrived, in addition to the three she'd just met in the hall, and there were also the four yordles.

Now, everyone's here.

These were the seven Sol had summoned from Ionia earlier: Zed, Akali, Yone, Ahri, Syndra, Irelia, and Sett.

"These are new members of our Familia. No need to be on guard," Riveria called out, breaking the tense silence and helping everyone relax.

"You're the Familia Captain? Are you stronger than that woman, Alfia?" Sett, who stood at the front, asked curiously.

His intense gaze bore into Riveria, as if he were eager to spar with her.

When Sett was first summoned by Sol, he'd immediately wanted to challenge Alfia.

Of course, the result was one-sided—Alfia knocked him down in a few moves but went easy on him.

Still, losing to a woman had ignited Sett's competitive spirit, and he'd since been training relentlessly in the dungeon.

Likewise, Yone, Akali, and Zed, all valuing strength, had joined in this fierce pursuit of improvement.

Sol hardly saw them anymore.

They got up earlier than dawn to train, and by the time Sol returned, he'd often find them already deep in practice or, sometimes, in a round of games with Ahri and the others.

Even rarer to see than Vex.

Sol was careful not to let Eina join these intense training sessions.

The thought of his gentle daughter becoming a battle-maniac was enough to make him break out in a cold sweat.

Besides, these newcomers hardly seemed the most innocent.

Sett was one thing, but the dark, dangerous aura around Zed, Yone's faint demonic energy, and Syndra's dark magic had certainly raised some eyebrows among the Familia members.
