Capítulo 13: Fighting Against Oneself

The room seemed to separate them from reality, forcing Arya and Laksmi to confront the darkest versions of themselves. Every corner was filled with echoes of bitter memories, mistakes, and fears they had never acknowledged.

Arya still stands in the midst of the ruined forest of his village. Black smoke envelops the air, and the voices of the people he knows have now turned into painful screams. The figure of a small child ran towards him, crying with eyes full of disappointment.

"Why didn't you save us?" the child asked with a trembling voice.

Arya stepped back, his sword trembling in his hand. "I can't go back... I just wanted to protect you all..."

However, the more he spoke, the more figures emerged from the darkness, all of them looking at him with hatred. They approached, whispering softly yet sharply. "You coward." You are not a protector, just someone who runs away from responsibility."

Arya clenched his jaw, trying to resist the whisper. He stared at his sword, which now looked dim, almost losing its light.

"I'm not a coward," he said, his voice gradually strengthening. "I may have failed, but I won't run away again!"

With renewed determination, Arya swung his sword, a blue light igniting from its blade and dispelling the shadows around him. The air became clearer, and he felt his burden starting to lift.

On the other hand, Laksmi faced her own shadow. The figure standing in front of her looked identical, but with cold eyes full of cynicism.

"You pretend to be strong, but you know that you are just a burden to others," said the shadow with a small laugh.

Laksmi gripped her bow tightly, her heart in turmoil. "That's not true." I have done my best.

The shadow approached, its smile full of mockery. "But it's never enough, is it?" You always feel doubt, afraid that your decision is wrong."

Those words were like thorns piercing her heart, but Laksmi closed her eyes, trying to catch her breath. She remembered the moments when she stood against all obstacles, protected Arya, and moved forward despite her doubts.

"I might be scared," she replied, opening her eyes. "But I won't let that fear take over me!"

The bracelet on his wrist began to shine, radiating a golden light that enveloped his body. The shadow shrank, losing its power.

When the trial ended, Arya and Laksmi found themselves back in the crystal chamber. They looked at each other, realizing that they had just gone through something far more difficult than a physical battle.

"I think we just passed our toughest test," Arya said with a faint smile.

Laksmi nodded. "Fighting oneself is always the hardest battle."

The light from the altar grew brighter, radiating an energy that felt soothing. A soft yet authoritative voice was heard around them.

"You have proven your courage and sincerity of heart." The next step is to understand your destiny, not as individuals, but as two souls bound by the same fate."

They exchanged glances, ready to take a step further, no longer haunted by the shadows of the past.

Arya and Laksmi have passed a test that challenged their courage and confidence. By confronting the dark sides of themselves, both discovered a new strength hidden within their hearts. Their journey is now not only to fight the enemy but also to unite their souls in facing a greater destiny. Continue this journey to uncover the secrets behind the light that is beginning to reveal itself.

The light from the altar continued to flicker, radiating increasingly strong energy. Arya and Laksmi stepped slowly towards the altar, a mix of curiosity and caution in their hearts. At the same time, the gentle voice they had heard before echoed again.

"You have passed the test of the heart." Now it is time to understand what you seek. "Place your hands on the altar, and the truth will be revealed."

Arya looked at Laksmi for a moment, as if seeking approval. Laksmi nodded firmly. They together extended their hands, touching the surface of the shining altar. Suddenly, a bright light exploded, covering the entire room.

When the light faded, they found themselves in a different place. A vast meadow stretched before them, with a blue sky adorned with thin clouds. However, the atmosphere felt strange like time had stopped.

In the middle of the field, there stood an old man in a white robe with a staff adorned with a blue crystal at its tip. His eyes radiated wisdom, and his smile contained an indescribable tranquility.

"Welcome, heir of destiny," said the old man in a calm yet authoritative voice.

"Who are you?" Arya asked while remaining on guard.

"I am the keeper of the knowledge that has long been hidden." "My name is Mahadewa, servant of Lord Vishnu," the man replied. "And you, Arya and Laksmi, are His incarnations."

Those words left both of them speechless. Laksmi tried to digest what she had just heard. "The Incarnation of Lord Vishnu?" What do you mean?"

Mahadewa swung his staff slowly, and the shadow of a large tree appeared in the air, depicting its glowing branches.God Vishnu, the guardian of the world's balance, has imbued some of his power into chosen souls. "You are two of the few people who inherit that power."

Arya stepped forward, trying to understand the implications of those words. If we are truly His reincarnation, why didn't the power manifest earlier? "Why do we have to face all this without knowing anything?"

Mahadewa smiled gently. "The power is not given, but must be discovered through journey and trials." "Every step you take, every decision you make, has brought you closer to this truth."

Laksmi looked at Mahadewa seriously. "Then, what should we do now? Our world is in danger. How can we use this power to save it?

Mahadewa tapped his staff on the ground, and the shadow of a great gate appeared before them. This gate will take you to a place where your true power will awaken. However, this journey is not without danger. You must be ready to face whatever awaits behind it."

Arya and Laksmi looked at each other. Determination shone from their eyes. They knew that whatever lay beyond the gate, they had to face it together.

As they stepped towards the gate, Mahadewa's voice echoed once more. "Remember, balance is not just about defeating darkness. You must understand that darkness and light always walk hand in hand." Only by accepting both can you become the true guardians of this world."

The gate opened slowly, radiating light that beckoned them to step further. With hearts full of confidence and steady steps, Arya and Laksmi entered the gate, ready to face whatever awaited them on the other side.
