Capítulo 11: Chapter 7 : Training in Game??

Next, Minato Namikaze truly experienced the extreme realism of a virtual reality game.

Whether it was positive sensory feedback or negative sensations, everything was felt in a way that was maximized and incredibly close to reality.

During this process, Minato failed several times because of the weakness of his in-game character. Specifically, he was unable to respond well when attacked by evil spirits and was killed by them.

The sensation of dying each time was unpleasant, leaving Minato pale-faced, overwhelmed with the feeling of having narrowly escaped death.

It was as if cold sweat poured down his body, and his consciousness was floating away, disconnected from reality—an experience that deeply worried those around him about his mental health.

However, every time Uchiha Kai grew concerned, Minato would quickly recover, rallying himself to face the game again.

The strong heart and willpower that would one day make him the Fourth Hokage of Konoha finally showed through during this process.

One could only say that some people become the Fourth Hokage not just because of their natural talent, but because of their indomitable will.

Minato continued to push through the game with the same attitude of actively embracing hardship, striving to complete it.

When he re-entered the black-level stage, a representation of "death," he didn't pause to be disturbed by the piles of corpses. Instead, he rushed forward with determination.

Facing the corpses that had been "activated" and now sought to drag him to his death, Minato dodged left and right, skillfully evading them in a manner akin to parkour.

During this time, Minato tried to use ninja techniques but failed each time. This taught him that, at least in the "death" stage, ninja techniques could not be used, and Taijutsu was the only option.

Thus, Minato treated the game as an opportunity to sharpen his Taijutsu skills and mental fortitude.

In the end, after a thrilling and perilous parkour-like journey, Minato successfully broke through the black-level stage just before the evil spirits could catch him.

Next came the challenge of the gray-level stage, which represented various negative emotions.

Upon entering, Minato didn't encounter a gruesome scene of mountains of corpses, but instead found many people in deep sorrow, crying, and suffering.

The heartbreaking sounds morphed into a "symphony" that filled the environment, causing Minato to feel an uncomfortable tightness in his chest.

This discomfort wasn't simply because Minato was kind-hearted—it was the environment itself, which influenced people's minds and stirred their inner negative emotions.

It was a classic example of a mental attack.

This could also be considered one of the unique features of genjutsu in the ninja world.

However, Uchiha Kai combined this characteristic into a genjutsu game, and with the addition of Minato Namikaze making the realism of the illusion maximum, the psychological impact was naturally quite intense.

As a result, Minato fell into a moment of mental lapse due to the strong emotional shock. This gave the evil spirit an opening, and it managed to deliver a close-range attack, draining his second life.

Although Minato was prepared and reacted immediately, the mental interference was too overwhelming, causing him to fall for the trap at that moment.

And so, this marked Minato's second death.

After his resurrection, Minato slowly recovered from the fear of death and immediately resumed the challenge. By guarding his mind, he finally managed to clear the gray level after dying once again.

The reason he died again was because the final section of the gray level contained a trap. Upon entering the area, the female evil spirit would use "teleportation"—she had been chasing him, but upon reaching a critical point, she would teleport right in front of the player for a sudden close-range attack.

Although Minato had been paying attention to the front, the suddenness of the close-range attack was too fast. In the end, Minato couldn't dodge in time and died once more.

At that moment, Minato felt deeply frustrated and distressed, reflecting that it was his own carelessness that caused this.

Uchiha Kai observed this silently, and calmly stated, "It's a game of suffering. If you don't like it, don't play."

Fortunately, Minato had reached the red level, which represented slaughter and battle. For this stage, Uchiha Kai gave him a warning, saying that it was both the hardest and the easiest level.

Because, as the game's task goes, this level was all about combat.

Upon entering, Minato found himself in a blood-red domain, facing an assault from ninjas made of what seemed like blood.

These ninjas were enemies that the characters in the game had previously encountered, coming from various ninja villages and wandering rogue ninjas scattered across the land.

These enemies would be "refreshed" in the red level, and would immediately launch an attack on Minato.

In this stage, Minato Namikaze could finally use ninjutsu.

However, he could only use basic, low-level ninjutsu, such as the Clone Technique and low-level elemental ninjutsu. His abilities were rather weak.

Fortunately, the enemy ninjas were just as weak.

Of course, this only applied in Minato's eyes.

But when he was forced to fight with only game characters, Minato entered a sort of "hard mode."

It was like a regular player's first time playing a role-playing action game, such as Dark Souls, Sekiro, or Elden Ring. The difficulty was ramped up to the max, and even a slight misstep could lead to getting hit by the enemy.

Even though Minato had extensive combat experience and could still exert great strength with his weak body, when faced with too many enemies, mistakes would inevitably happen.

And so, just like all first-time role-playing action game players, Minato's journey through endless deaths and suffering began.

The experience of being killed by vengeful spirits in various ways was far from pleasant, but Minato eagerly embraced it.

After all, this type of ruthless battle, with no need to hold back, was a rare training opportunity for a ninja of his caliber.

Even though it wasn't his own body, and the world was only an illusion created by genjutsu, as long as it was real enough, it could bring him immense growth.

The goal here was simple: battle, and enjoy it!

Uchiha Kai, who had noticed this, was quite speechless. Using a game to simulate real-life combat awareness was honestly absurd.

But then again, this was the nature of virtual reality games—a cutting-edge technology of the future that people in 2024 on Earth couldn't even begin to imagine.

It was clear that in the ninja world, this kind of thing was possible due to the strange chemical reaction between the mental network technology and the Sharingan.

In fact, Uchiha Kai wasn't too surprised. After all, even in the 21st-century world, using virtual reality systems for training and learning wasn't such a rare idea.

Although the real world couldn't perfectly simulate reality yet, similar concepts were commonly seen in various forms of entertainment.

Minato simply had the sharp intuition and observational skills to recognize the benefits that a genjutsu-based game could bring.

While Minato Namikaze was undergoing training through the game's levels, Uchiha Kai glanced at the current emotional value provided by Minato.

"Minato's emotional reactions are pretty strong; he should be able to provide two or three points of emotional value, right?"

Muttering this to himself, Uchiha Kai opened the system panel to check and then froze.

He rubbed his eyes, unsure if he had seen it correctly.

When he finally focused on the displayed number, Uchiha Kai couldn't help but gasp, almost blurting out a "What the hell!"

The number on the display was: 1165!

Not 1, not 2, nor 3 or 4, but directly over a thousand!

What's going on?

Didn't the system say that a person could provide at most 4 points of emotional value?

Thinking about this, Uchiha Kai immediately asked, "System, care to explain? Why can Minato provide over a thousand emotional value points? Didn't you say a person can only provide a maximum of 4?"

Upon hearing Uchiha Kai's question, the system immediately began to scan and then provided an answer.

[A normal person can provide 4 points of emotional value. A normal person refers to a typical adult male. When some players exceed the normal human rating, they can provide more emotional value.]

[After detection, it is found that the current player's life level has far surpassed normal human standards. Their total number of cells is twice that of a normal person, containing immense energy within, and they possess combat power that exceeds human limits, so they can provide emotional value far beyond that of an ordinary person.]

In other words, theoretically, the stronger the person playing the game, the more emotional value they can provide under the same level of emotional reaction?

Moreover, because the number of cells in the bodies of ninjas in the ninja world is twice that of Earthlings, ninjas themselves can provide more emotional value than people from Earth!

After understanding all of this, Uchiha Kai couldn't help but feel ecstatic.

Because this meant that to complete the system's task, he didn't need to promote or experience the game on a large scale like on Earth; all he had to do was find some powerful beings and have them play the game!
