After resolving the conflicts on Namek, Goku and his friends arrived at the Grand Elder's residence.
At the gathering, many Namekians expressed their gratitude to Goku and his group. Without their intervention, Namek might have become a lifeless planet.
With the threat of Frieza eliminated, it was time to return to Earth.
Krillin led Goku to a cave where Bulma had been hiding.
"Goku, finally, you're here! Do you have any idea how miserable it's been for me here? If you'd taken any longer, I would've died!" Bulma exclaimed as soon as she saw him, venting her frustration.
Not long ago, the skies outside had darkened suddenly. The ground and ocean began to tremble, accompanied by sporadic flashes of lightning that struck the ground.
Bulma, being an ordinary human who couldn't sense ki, thought the end of Namek was near. But upon seeing Goku, her anxiety eased.
"It's okay, Bulma. Everything's fine now. I've defeated all the enemies," Goku reassured her.
"Now, we need to return to Earth and use the Dragon Balls there to bring everyone back to life."
Krillin carried Bulma back to the Grand Elder's residence while Goku set off to retrieve his spaceship. Though Planet Namek had been moved to new location, Goku's spaceship had arrived during his battle with the Ginyu Force.
Once he recovered his ship, Goku rejoined the others at the Grand Elder's residence.
"Goku, the ship we came in was destroyed. The only option now is to use your spaceship," Bulma pointed out.
"Hey, we don't need a spaceship," Goku replied, his expression turning playful. "Just hold onto my clothes later—I've got a faster way to get us back to Earth."
Everyone stared at Goku, confused. Bulma, in particular, was baffled by his cryptic statement.
"Vegeta, do you want to come back to Earth with us?" Goku asked. "Bulma's father has built a gravity chamber on Earth—it's perfect for training."
Though Vegeta was determined to surpass Goku through rigorous training, the mention of the gravity chamber intrigued him. Reluctantly, he agreed to join.
Despite his usual disdain, Vegeta was the first to grab Goku by the shoulders, his expression betraying a trace of irritation.
Piccolo and Bulma soon followed suit.
After reluctantly saying their goodbyes to Dende, Gohan, and Krillin grabbed hold of Goku as well.
"Dende, why don't you come back with us?" Goku suggested. "The Lookout on Earth would make a great place for you to stay."
This proposal wasn't just for Gohan's sake. Goku was also thinking ahead. During the future battle against Cell and the Androids, Piccolo would merge with Kami, rendering Earth's Dragon Balls inert. Having Dende as a potential new Guardian of Earth would ensure the Dragon Balls' continued existence.
After receiving the Grand Elder's permission, Dende immediately stepped forward and grabbed Son Gohan's clothes.
The three jumped for joy, happy that they could all go to Earth together.
With everyone ready, Goku bid farewell to the Namekians.
"Well, see you all later!" he called out.
In an instant, with a "whoosh," the group vanished from Namek and reappeared at the Lookout on Earth.
"Goku! What kind of technique is this?" Bulma asked in amazement. "You brought us all the way from Namek to Earth in an instant!"
Krillin stared at the scene before him, marvelling at how incredible it was. The journey to Namek had taken so much time, yet their return to Earth happened in the blink of an eye.
"This technique is called Instant Transmission," Goku explained, scratching the back of his head. "As long as I can sense someone's ki, I can teleport there, no matter how far away it is."
After handing his spaceship over to Bulma, everyone began to go their separate ways. Goku and Gohan returned to Mount Paozu, while Krillin headed back to Kame House. Vegeta followed Bulma to her home to make use of the gravity chamber for his training.
Meanwhile, Piccolo chose to remain at the Lookout, staying with Dende.

Far away, near the previous location of Planet Namek.
Despite being consumed by the sun, Frieza's astonishing resilience allowed him to survive. Now, only half his head remained, floating aimlessly through the void of space...

On Earth.
One year had passed since the events on Namek. During this time, the Z Fighters successfully used Earth's Dragon Balls to bring back those who had perished.
Back on Mount Paozu, in order to allow Gohan to train with him, Goku had taken up farming, planting crops in the field behind his house. When the harvest came in, he sold the produce at the market to earn money.
Goku also promised Chi-Chi that he wouldn't let Gohan neglect his studies, and Gohan quickly promised to work hard.
Inspired by his father's incredible strength on Namek, Gohan had grown determined to become stronger. He wanted to protect those he cared about and be ready for any future threats.
Seeing Son Goku, who had never made money before, learning how to earn a living, and after repeated assurances from Son Goku, Chi-Chi finally agreed that father and son could train together.
Over the course of the year, Goku's strength continued to grow, and Gohan's power advanced rapidly under his father's guidance. Goku managed to surpass the limits of a Super Saiyan and successfully transform into a Super Saiyan 2. Gohan, meanwhile, was on the brink of becoming a full-fledged Super Saiyan. He had achieved the form of a Pseudo Super Saiyan, a preliminary transformation that, while not as powerful as the real thing, still significantly increased his strength and therefore shouldn't be underestimated.
Vegeta often visited Mount Paozu during this time, challenging Kakarot to battle. Yet every duel ended in Vegeta's disastrous defeat. Even so, he also greatly benefited from the experience, eventually unlocking the Super Saiyan transformation in Bulma's gravity chamber.
Eager to showcase his newfound power, Vegeta immediately challenged Kakarot once more. While he didn't believe he could defeat Kakarot just yet, he was confident he could now fight on more equal footing.
However, once again, reality proved otherwise. Even as a Super Saiyan, Vegeta could not hold his own against Kakarot, who had mastered the Super Saiyan transformation long ago.
As the proud Prince of all Saiyans, he refused to believe he couldn't surpass Kakarot and vowed that one day he would crush him. Frustrated and unwilling to admit failure, Vegeta returned to Bulma's house to continue his training.
As Goku and the others pushed themselves to greater heights, they remained unaware that a new crisis was already unfolding on Earth.
