The scent coming from the assailant's(?) hand did something strange to Sohee's pheromones— no, it actually forced him to release double the amount of pheromones that he would normally discharge during his heat.
Hence, he ended up feeling weak all of a sudden.

It was frustrating that Sohee couldn't open his eyes again.
"You don't deserve this earring," the assailant— whose voice sounded like a man— said bitterly, and then he touched Sohee's ear. "I'm taking this—"
