I return to my room and store everything I left behind to make more space. I also store the items Ted bought for me, including the water. My inventory is full to the brim and there is barely room for anything now. But as I consume these items, space will be recovered, and the system will also level up. I look out the window and the lights of Valyria are moving away. I decide to do my meditation for the day when I am woken up by Aisha.
"Sir, dinner is ready."
Today's dinner would be special since it is our first at sea. The crew will eat the same as the VIPs and cabin passengers. Food is normally served in most cabins and few people go to the crew deck, but today Omar and I eat with everyone. Beer is served to everyone and many men cheer up by singing songs about adventures at sea and others about bravery and honor. Soon a toast session begins for me, Omar and the Captain... I start to get drunk from drinking so many mugs of beer. When it starts to get really late, I decide to leave the place while I see something funny:
[Your body has been poisoned]
[Your resistance to poison (low) is able to fight the poison and start to eliminate it]
It seems that alcohol in large quantities is considered by my body as a poison, it makes sense. I take the opportunity to look at the system missions, but I have no sign of the completion of the most important mission, which is to escape from perdition. I decide to go to sleep, tomorrow we should reach a position far enough away and safe enough from perdition to complete the mission.

In the Valyrian freehold city, it was already past midnight. At the Browns' mansion, the family patriarch had been awake for over 10 hours, trying to get out of the bed he was tied to. But no matter how hard he tried, he was still stuck. The reason he woke up so early was due to his excessive weight of almost 250 kilos. Rafael was not a doctor and did not think of something so simple when it came to the dosage. The drug that was supposed to knock someone out for 1 day with half the dosage barely knocked the obese man out for 14 hours. But no matter what he did, there was no one in the house. Fat Brown could only wait on top of his bed, thirsty and very hungry.
In the servants' house, during the early hours of Sunday to Monday, the servants also woke up. They were hungry and thirsty, but they did not understand why they were hungry, and they still thought it was Sunday morning. Only the head chef was feeling strange, but he soon dismissed what he saw as a nightmare.
The Brown brothers in the basement were still asleep, but the surviving guard and the butler tied up in his own room also woke up, but rescue would only come when daybreak broke and the three servants went to the house. Everything was done on purpose by Rafael, he wanted them to have relief for surviving the danger only to feel terror again during the perdition. That's why he gave a reduced dose so that everyone would wake up on Sunday night with the exception of the brothers who saw his face, they both would only wake up early in the morning.

At the port it was 2 am when the first candle lit the prepared fuse, starting the first fire on the Golden Dragon. No less than 5 minutes later, the other candles also lit, starting 3 other simultaneous fires in the hold where the remaining cargo was. With the oil spread by Rafael, the fire spread throughout the ship's hold, even at the entrance. Soon the trigger and remaining fuse that were hidden near the deck also ignited causing the several kilos of gunpowder prepared by Rafael to explode in a bang that was heard throughout the port area, along with the sound, a red glow followed by lots of noise. smoke that was also seen even by those further away from the port.
It was 4 am when Lord Ronny Belaerys was awakened from his sleep by one of his servants with a terrible message, a fire had started on the Golden Dragon and the ship sank in the harbor! Looking at the report, Ronny didn't know why his district had been so unlucky recently... This ship belonged to the infamous five finger group, his scalp started to tingle, even though the main cargo was taken out yesterday there were at least another 20,000 gold coins in it. other goods still on board the ship. He soon sent messages asking them to investigate whether any cargo survived and find out how the fire started. He quickly changed to go there himself and talk to the crew.

At Valyria's Sigh it was 7:00 AM when Rafael was woken up by the system's beeping.
BEEP!
[Optional quest completed]
[Directly or indirectly save civilians from doom.]
[Experience gained]
[Main quest completed]
[Escape Valyria before doom occurs!]
[Experience gained]
[Wait for doom to end for bonus rewards]
[System leveled up]
[New benefits unlocked at lvl 3]
-Inventory expansion
-Microscopic vision
-Separation
-Control resistance (extremely low)
-Prophetic protection (medium level)
-Improved effect when using the Alteration skill on oneself
A satisfied smile appeared on my face, the inventory had been expanded and now had twice the previous space that was already the size of a large room. I click on the details of this microscopic vision, it seems to use the alteration skill for a few seconds on my eyes and give me enhanced vision? No... It should have a different name if that's what it was, I try to use it inside my cabin and all I see are germs and bacteria floating around me along with what I assume are microscopic particles of salt and seaweed. I almost feel sick when I see this and quickly cancel the vision. It seems to only magnify the vision so I can see what's close, and not what's far away. Things so small that normal eyes couldn't see them, it must have its advantages for a Blood Mage when studying the biology of other creatures.
The new Separation skill can do the opposite of synthesis, this is quite interesting and could have many different and innovative applications.
A new resistance was given to me, it says to reduce the effects of mind control and effects that affect the mind or body. Being someone who played a lot of games, I know that there were a lot of stun and control spells, so if something like that exists here too, I'm now a little better at resisting them.
But I'm discouraged that its effect is (extremely low) being much worse than resistance to diseases and poisons. The mid-level prophetic resistance now protects my specific location, which finally gives me some relief. Should people still have a precise location of my direction or something equivalent to a neighborhood in a city? It also blocks the faces and names of those related to me. This effect is great and I feel shielded from snoopers haha.
The last benefit is an improvement to the Alteration skill, but I haven't tested this skill yet, but I plan to do so now that I've been on board the ship for several months. Before leaving the cabin, I do my daily meditation and notice a fog outside the ship that makes it impossible to see anything too far away. I drink my coffee in the crew's mess hall, while chatting with some crew members. So I head to the cargo area and put away the meat freezer I picked up yesterday. If I keep it in my inventory, these meats won't spoil and we won't have to use up our finite supply of batteries. I grab some more perishables before walking over to my blacksmith. Before I get there, a message I was expecting pops up:
[You have started moving away from fire totems number 1 and 2.]
[The number of spells used daily decreases from 3>2]
Chapter 1/2 of the day!
