Capítulo 30: Lilith the princess of the east

Hiraku, Mira, Lisa, and Shin were in the cafeteria having their meal. They were discussing random matters, though Hiraku hadn't fully healed from the memory of Misaki's death. He was the kind of person who knew all too well how to keep moving forward, no matter the pain or obstacles.

They were almost done with their meals when suddenly, all the students froze, looking mortified. A swarm of demons blasted through the windows, and the earth-shattering noise forced Hiraku and his friends to clutch their ears tightly. They sprawled on the floor, screaming as the piercing sound drew closer and intensified. After a few minutes, the sound slowly subsided.

Shards of glass were on Hiraku's face, and he still clutched his ears, as did Lisa, Mira, and Shin. Hiraku slowly got up and looked around. None of the students were in the cafeteria—they had all disappeared. He went to each classroom and searched, but none of the students were there either.

"Hiraku, where is everyone?" Mira asked, her tone laced with fright.

"I don't know, but keep searching. I'll go outside to check!" Hiraku yelled as he ran out of the school hallway. Upon reaching outside, he stopped and looked ahead. His mouth fell open in terror.

All the students were hanging upside down in the air, high above the school building, unconscious, their eyes black like ash. He was about to chant a spell when a man stabbed him from behind. The sharp object pierced deep into his back. With a loud yell, Hiraku grabbed the man's neck from behind and flung him forward.

The man smashed his face into the ground but slowly stood up. His jaw was disfigured and grotesquely out of shape. Hiraku clutched his back and slowly knelt down, feeling slightly dizzy. Blood spluttered from the wound as he held it, and his eyes began to shine with a golden brilliance.

The man with the disfigured mouth opened it wider, releasing a burst of thick black smoke. Within the smoke, darts of flame spiked out, crackling ominously. The flames engulfed the man, and from the inferno, a horse standing at an imposing 6'5" emerged.

On the horse sat Lilith, a member of the Legion of Demons and the Princess of the East of the Earth. The horse exuded a fiery red aura, its body ablaze, and it breathed out thick black smoke.

Lilith held a spear tightly in her right hand. Two great kudu horns adorned her head, their tips blazing with fire. On her forehead, a small, diamond-like object shimmered red. Her chest was covered by two black skulls resembling human heads, but her midriff was exposed. From her cleavage to her neck was visible, while her arms from the elbows to the palms were encased in mithral black gauntlets.

Her waist down to her feet was protected by mithral armor, though parts of her thighs were exposed. She touched the tip of her spear with her index finger and stared at Hiraku with her snake-like eyes, a chilling, malevolent gaze.

"Mortal, do you bear the name Hiraku?" she asked while touching the tip of her spear.

Hiraku knelt down on one knee, still crouching onto his back and mentally chanting a spell. His eyes glimmered with a faint golden glow. Mira, Lisa, and Shin darted out of the school hallway and ran to Hiraku, who was on the floor. They were about to lift him up.

"Speak!" she commanded, flinging the 8-foot-tall spear toward Hiraku's head.

The Sword of the Spirit appeared in front of his face in a split second, and a collision of light and dark energy rippled through the air.

Hiraku lay on the ground, his vision slightly blurry as he panted heavily.

"Sleeping already, mortal?" a voice echoed above him.

Lillit's spear glistened as she descended, wind swirling behind her. She raised her foot, ready to plunge the spear into Hiraku's heart. The Sword of the Spirit, glowing with fiery flames, flared on Hiraku's right arm, propelling him forward while still on the ground.

The spear pierced the ground with shattering force, fracturing the earth around her into hundreds of rocks. The school began shaking violently as cracks spread beneath it.

Lisa fluttered her eyes open and touched her head. The ground beneath her was sinking. She saw Mira and Shin lying unconscious nearby, surrounded by a protective spell. Drawing her arm toward them, she used her telekinetic abilities to pull them closer. Placing her index and third fingers on her forehead, the three vanished, reappearing moments later in the old church.

Mira and Shin lay on the floor, still unconscious and covered in bruises. Lisa slowly stood, her frantic breathing quickening. She summoned the Clavis Salomonis, which appeared in her hands, and opened the page containing the forbidden Spell of Awakening.

This spell had the power to summon any divine being—angel or demon—from the spiritual plane, save for the Holy One, and bind them to her command. However, the cost of performing this spell was dire: her fate would inevitably end at the hands of death.

She conjured a knife and cut her right palm, allowing blood to drip slowly. She began chanting the forbidden spell:

"Praecipio tibi, o magne Exorcista, ut verba mea audias et mortalem Hiraku liberes."

Her voice echoed as a red portal appeared above her. Her eyes glowed crimson, and the diamond crystal on her forehead shimmered with red light. She levitated into the air and extended her arm into the portal.

A hand grasped hers, and with all her strength, she pulled. Zack tumbled to the ground, and a pattern began to form on his back. The intricate design spread, covering a third of his body. Lisa leaned closer and noticed that it had taken the shape of the Demon Seal.

Zack still lay on the ground and coughed. He clenched his head and opened his eyes. A red diamond like crystal slowly formed on his forehead. He yelled and clutched onto his head tightly and slowly he stood up and looked at Lisa who was kneeling peering at him with tears in her eye.
