Resumen

The Ottoman Empire, which had begun to lose its former grandeur, had once had its potential savior in Sultan Osman II, who was lost in the dusty pages of history. Reform attempts led him to dig his own grave, and he was ultimately killed by his own Janissaries in the 7 Towers Dungeon. However, in an alternate timeline, the survival of Osman sparks hope to restore the Ottoman Empire to superpower status. Will the empire manage to progress and regain its former glory, or will it fall behind the times and be doomed to collapse?

Hello, first of all this book is going very well. As a historical fiction reader I have to say a few things. When you write a book, don't worry about what someone from this country will say. You can't write a book that will please everyone, no one can. Don't pay too much attention to the comments, after all it's your book.

I really hope that this book will continue until the end and will not stop in the middle of the story.. You know what, author, I'm not just hoping, I'm begging you to make an ending for this book.. please. Author, if you need some help for like ideas for this book, I suggest you to read this Chinese novel "The Crescent of the Sultan - 苏丹的新月", hope you find a good story idea in that novel.. and please make an actual ending for this book, not a hanging ending...

A very interesting story about a sultan that I've always felt sad about, guy wanted to get rid of the ottoman praetorian guards and was thwarted by his wife. The slight issues I have with the story is the sheer improbability of the sidelining of islam in a manner that wouldnt happen without letting go of the arab regions, the empire is majority muslim and unlike otl turkish republic and ataturk have yet to be betrayed by its muslim inhabitants, OTL Mustafa Kemal Pasa went full secularism and lacism because he knew that the citizens of his new republic were not gonna be the religious part of arabia but from the anatolian heartlands with turks, the millet system however was a great way to balance both but also maintain the islamic nature of the empire. the way Osman here has gone is primed for rebellion from its arab regions and losing them, it wouldve been better if he maintained his religious background but also brought in equality for the non muslim part of his empire aka balkans, as it stands now this feels way too unrealistic and optimistic and purely with Turkic peoples in mind and not the rest of the empire

honestly speaking as a Moroccan and Muslim I think that this novel deserves the full 5 stars just because it is looking back not to an old western Empire but to one of the roses of the Islamic world

Dear Author, I want to take a moment to applaud your dedication and creativity in bringing this incredible story to life. Writing a book is no small feat, and your ability to weave history with imagination is truly commendable. The depth of your characters and the complexity of the plot are engaging, and it's clear that you're pouring your passion and effort into this project. Remember, every writer faces challenges, and mistakes are part of the learning process. Don’t let them discourage you—keep going, as each step is progress. The most important thing is that you're telling a unique story, and your voice is what will make it stand out. Stay motivated, and know that your hard work will pay off. I’m excited to see how the story evolves! Best of luck, and keep writing!
