Once inside their suite, she prepared Emily for bed, removing her dress and replacing it with soft pajamas.

After ensuring Emily was comfortable, Alice quickly changed into her own nightwear, her body already craving the comfort of sleep. She hadn't rested properly since the chaos of the previous night, and the exhaustion weighed heavily on her.

As soon as she lay down beside Emily, her body relaxed into the mattress, and her mind quieted. The soft rise and fall of Emily's breathing was the last thing she registered before sleep claimed her completely.

The days passed quickly, as Alice spent all her free time accompanying Emily, and before Alice knew it, the not so-anticipated racing day had arrived. Leaving Emily in the care of the temporary hired caregiver, Alice made her way to the venue, her thoughts focused yet calm.
