Capítulo 120: 120. Lucid (Jude's POV)

I bought some canned food for our first few meals. Only a bit of oil and making it hot would suffice; additionally, I cooked potatoes after using Lesly's phone to find out how long to cook them.

The bird woke, and I could feel her presence behind. I even had the delusion of feeling her eyes on me.

When I turned around, I saw her not so much hiding with her hair, peeking out of the doorway.

I led her to sit down and finished my cooking. She looked sad, and although I was curious, I didn't want to push her.

I watched her sit. I watched her clumsily bring the plastic cutlery to her mouth. Furthermore, I saw her chewing slowly and eating heartily. She also had a good appetite at home, but seeing her eat the fast food I, personally, made was more enjoyable than at home.

Besides, it were only the two of us now, here at this table, kitchen, in the whole house.
