Ganyu and the others also noticed Lumine and Paimon.

Since Ganyu and Shenhe had originally come to Sumeru with Lumine, they didn't feel awkward or embarrassed in her presence.

Kamisato Ayaka and Ei, however, were a different story.

Ei had secretly slipped away from Inazuma, leaving all her responsibilities in the hands of Yae Miko. Ayaka had likewise fibbed to her brother about spending her days training her swordsmanship, only to use a teleportation toilet to sneak off to Sumeru.

Neither had informed anyone of their trip to Sumeru, and under Lumine and Paimon's meaningful gazes, both turned their faces away in flustered embarrassment.

"Wow, there's so many people here!"

Paimon floated over to the group as Lumine and Dunyarzad approached.

"Luo Qing... what's all this about?" Lumine asked softly, casting a subtle look at him.

"Well, it's the Sabzeruz Festival, so of course we're out to enjoy the festivities together!" Makoto replied with a gentle smile. To avoid unnecessary attention, she still wore her simulated mask, giving her face a resemblance to Ei's but with some noticeable differences.

"Thank you all for coming to celebrate the Sabzeruz Festival!" Dunyarzad said warmly. She didn't think too deeply about the group's makeup, assuming they were just a group of friends, with perhaps one or two couples mixed in.

After all, who would believe someone could juggle six girlfriends?

"I heard this year's festival is one of the best in recent years, so we couldn't miss it," Makoto replied politely.

"Miss Ei, Lady Ayaka, what brings you two to Sumeru?" Paimon asked, hovering closer. "And why did you ask us to bring those gifts for Luo Qing if you were coming here yourselves..."

Halfway through her question, Paimon suddenly noticed the looks the other girls were giving her—sharp enough to silence her instantly.

"Oh? You had them deliver something?" Makoto said with a sly smile, turning her gaze toward Ei.

"It was just a little sachet, nothing worth mentioning," Ei said, her cheeks tinged with pink as she pretended to admire the scenery.

The sachet, of course, contained the full power of her Musou no Hitotachi. If Luo Qing ever opened it, it could cleave Sumeru City in half, trees and all, rendering it uninhabitable for centuries.

Definitely nothing worth mentioning.

"And you, Ayaka?" Makoto's gaze shifted to Ayaka, her expression playfully curious.

"I, uh..." Ayaka stammered, visibly panicking.

The gift she had sent was a photo album—filled with candid shots of herself modeling outfits designed by Luo Qing. They weren't ordinary photos, though. The outfits Luo Qing had created were... a little too suggestive.

One outfit was racier than the next.

"Well, since you're all here, you might as well give them to him in person," Makoto said with a smile, skillfully changing the subject.

"Enough about that. I heard there's a fantastic show at the Zubair Theater tonight. Lumine, do you know what it is?"

As the matron of the group, Makoto knew how to smooth over tension and avoid embarrassing her "sisters." Fair treatment was a crucial skill for maintaining harmony among her family, especially when they all had similar tactics.

"I know!" Paimon raised her hand excitedly. "It's Nilou's dance performance! She's been preparing for it for ages, and I bet it's going to be amazing!"

"Really? Then we must see it. We should show our support," Makoto said, turning to the rest of the group.

"It's getting late. Let's head inside and find seats. It'll be hard to find good ones with so many people here tonight."

"Mm."

"Understood."

The girls nodded in agreement.

"We'll head in first, Luo Qing. You can catch up after you finish chatting with Lumine," Makoto said, leading the group toward the theater.

That left Luo Qing alone with Lumine and Paimon.

"How in Teyvat did you manage this?!" Paimon blurted, her eyes wide with disbelief as soon as the others were out of earshot.

"That's..." Luo Qing scratched his head, unsure how to answer.

Before that late-night discussion at Makoto's, the women had been at each other's throats—especially Shenhe and Ei, whose glares could've sparked a duel.

But somehow, after that night, the tension had vanished. Instead, the women seemed united, almost as if they were banding together against an unseen enemy.

He had no idea what Makoto had said to them.

"You'll have to ask Makoto. I'm as clueless as you are," Luo Qing said, shrugging.

"You're the main character here!" Paimon stamped her little feet in frustration.

"The main character got kicked out of the house that night. I have no idea what happened," Luo Qing replied with a resigned shake of his head.

"...Fine. Don't tell me, then," Paimon grumbled.

Lumine gave him a meaningful look. It was hard to believe that this man—beyond his good looks and cheeky attitude—was a Fatui Harbinger.

Where was the dignity? The gravitas? Instead, all he did was flirt.

"Here," Lumine said, pulling out two items from her bag: a small sachet glowing faintly with a deep purple hue and a slim photo album.

"This is from Ei. She said it contains the power of her full-strength Musou no Hitotachi. If your life's in danger, you can use your elemental power to open it. And this... this is from Ayaka."

Lumine hesitated, unsure how to describe the contents of the album.

"Just take a look later."

Remembering the scandalous outfits Ayaka had modeled in the photos, Lumine felt a mix of disbelief and resignation. Such a sweet, innocent girl—and yet she'd gone to such lengths for Luo Qing.

"Oh?" Luo Qing opened the album just a crack, peeking inside.

His eyes widened as he glimpsed Ayaka dressed in a three-piece swimsuit, sitting on a tatami mat and gazing shyly at the camera.

Tsk.

This was a treasure. Worth studying for "research" purposes to prepare for the real deal.

Sorry, big brother Kamisato. Your sister is just too tempting.

"How's Sumeru treating you these past few days?" Luo Qing asked, casually tucking the items into his inventory.

"Not bad. Why?" Lumine replied, puzzled.

"Just curious." Luo Qing waved her off. "Anyway, I should catch up with the others. Sleep well tonight."

Without waiting for a response, he turned and strode toward the theater.

"Lumine, who are all those girls to Luo Qing? I feel like I'm missing something here..." Dunyarzad asked, watching his retreating figure with a puzzled expression.

At first, she'd thought Makoto was Luo Qing's only partner, but now it seemed... more complicated.

"If you're confused, that makes two of us," Lumine sighed, glancing in the same direction.

"Whatever the case, those girls probably can't imagine life without him anymore..."

"..."

Capítulo 248: This Trainee Fatui Harbinger is Too Unreliable [248] [40 PS]

Reader, thanks to your unwavering support, we've prepared these bonus chapters for you. I hope they bring you joy!

---

Upon entering the theater, Luo Qing scanned the seats and immediately spotted Makoto and the other women already seated in the front row. They waved at him enthusiastically, a spot saved just for him in the very center.

To his left and right sat three women each, with Makoto and Theresa flanking him. It was clear that Makoto had taken a particular liking to Theresa, her "first little sister" to pledge allegiance.

Under the envious gazes of the men around him, Luo Qing took his seat, mere meters from the stage.

"Why are we sitting in the front row?" Luo Qing asked.

"To let you have the best view of the little dancer's performance, of course," Makoto replied with a teasing smile.

She then turned to Kamisato Ayaka, sitting to her right. "I hear Ayaka likes to dance too. Is that true?"

"Ah..." Ayaka hesitated, her voice barely audible. "Sister Makoto, I'm not very good at it..."

"No worries, no worries. Luo Qing will definitely enjoy it. He's always loved watching young ladies dance, isn't that right, Luo Qing?"

"..."

Makoto's playful remark caused the other women to glance over. Though they remained silent, her words clearly stuck in their minds.

Luo Qing likes girls who can dance.

Better remember that.

Before long, Makoto's small talk with the group eased the atmosphere. Soon, the lights dimmed, signaling the start of the Sabzeruz Festival's headline event.

Zubair, the theater owner, took the stage first. After delivering a lengthy ode to the little Grass God, the performances began.

Jugglers, singers, magicians, and audience interaction acts followed in succession.

Luo Qing paid no mind to any of them. He was only interested in Nilou's dance.

Finally, the finale arrived.

"Now, let's welcome Miss Nilou, presenting her breathtaking dance in honor of the Sabzeruz Festival!"

As the announcer's voice echoed backstage, the lights dimmed again.

In the darkness, a Vision slowly began to glow—a soothing azure radiance.

The music swelled, the lights came up, and a red-haired girl stood at the center of the stage. Nilou's graceful movements began, her flowing sleeves trailing as water-element lotuses bloomed around her.

Each lotus drifted toward the audience, transforming into birds and flowers that adorned the entire bazaar.

"So this... is the kind of dance Luo Qing likes..."

Ayaka watched, her small mouth slightly agape, completely mesmerized by Nilou's performance.

Is this the right way to use a Vision for dancing?

In comparison, her own attempts at dancing seemed... utterly inadequate.

Ayaka made up her mind then and there. After the performance, I must find Nilou and ask her to teach me.

The music reached its crescendo, and the entire audience was spellbound by Nilou's dance.

Suddenly, a voice, sharp and full of hostility, shattered the moment.

"Cease this performance immediately! The Akademiya has not received any registration for this event!"

The music stopped abruptly. Nilou's dance was cut short, her waterborne lotuses and birds fading into nothingness.

All eyes turned toward the commotion, where a group of Akademiya guards, led by Azar and several scholars, had stormed into the theater and climbed onto the stage.

"Today's Sabzeruz Festival event has not been officially registered with the Akademiya and is therefore an illegal gathering. You have one minute to stop all activities, or you will face the necessary consequences," Setaria announced coldly, her tone devoid of emotion.

"You again!"

Nilou clenched her fists tightly, glaring at the scholars with fiery defiance.

This wasn't the first time they'd interrupted one of her performances.

"It's the Sabzeruz Festival! What's illegal about hosting a celebration?!" Nilou snapped, turning her frustration toward Azar. "This event is your responsibility, yet you do nothing to prepare for it—and now you accuse us of breaking the rules?!"

"Hmph. Pointless entertainment such as this should be banned outright. It's merely the ignorant and uneducated indulging in frivolity," Azar replied, arms crossed, his smug disdain palpable.

His gaze swept the audience—until it landed on Luo Qing in the front row.

Their eyes met.

For reasons he couldn't explain, a chill ran down Azar's spine.

"You dare to call the Sabzeruz Festival meaningless? Have you forgotten who our god is?!"

Nilou's voice trembled with anger, her fists clenched so tightly her knuckles turned white. If she weren't worried about causing trouble for the theater, she'd have slapped Azar already.

"Hmph. With your level of intellect, I don't think you're qualified to argue with me," Azar sneered, turning to leave.

His mission tonight was merely to locate a suitable Dream Core, and now that he'd found one, there was no need to linger.

"These people, always ruining someone else's performance!"

Makoto crossed her arms, her expression dark. Ganyu and Shenhe also looked displeased, though Ei remained impassive.

"I've had enough of these Akademiya snobs!" Makoto muttered.

Between the previous interruptions of performances and the scholars' arrogant attitudes during her walks through Sumeru, her patience had worn thin.

"Luo Qing, take him down!"

"..."

"How exactly should I 'take him down'?"

"Just get rid of him. That little mustache of his annoys me!"

"Alright."

Luo Qing nodded slightly, his mind entering the Akasha Network. Locating Azar's terminal, he sent a single thought.

"Listen to me, do you play basketball?"

"Hmm?!"

[Frustration Points from Azar: +10]

Azar's face went pale. The voice—it was him. The one who had dragged him into that nightmare where he was toyed with by beastwomen.

"Can you sing, dance, and rap?"

"Who are you..."

"Then let's see you perform on stage. Sing, dance, and rap."

With those words, Azar's mind filled with unfamiliar memories: a man in suspenders and a bowl cut, bouncing a ball while singing an annoyingly catchy tune.

"What is this..."

Azar's body began to move against his will, as if some unseen force had taken control.

To everyone's shock, the haughty Grand Sage removed his coat, slung it over his shoulders, and tucked part of it into his waistband like suspenders.

As the audience stared in confusion, Azar ignored Nilou, walking to the center of the stage.

His face twisted in anguish as he opened his mouth.

"Greetings, national producers...

I'm Azar, a trainee with two and a half years of practice..."
