"We've already rescheduled for the products to be shipped in tomorrow, sir, based on your orders," my assistant says, adjusting her glasses.

"That's fine. I'll let you know if there's anything else," I reply absentmindedly, staring at the documents on my desk.

"Of course, sir."

I never thought I'd be a product manager. Not because the job isn't for me, but because... well, I don't know. You just don't usually find the office of a product manager empty and waiting to be filled. It felt like I'd walked into a role that had been waiting specifically for me. Maybe it's because of the timing—Vivi and Nica's sudden reappearance in my life, the past suddenly slamming into my present. I shake my head, trying to focus.

"Good morning. I see you're settling in pretty well."

I look up. It's Vivi. I blink, disoriented.

But no, it's not Vivi. The sternness in her eyes and the clipped tone say otherwise. It's Nica. It has to be.
