Su Ming rushed toward training mecha number 3, while Mink and Chen Tong hurried towards the remaining 4 and 5 training mechas.
The four skillfully stepped on the mechanical square tiles and entered the cockpits of their training mechas.
Just as Su Ming had adjusted his seat and activated the safety buckle, preparing to start up the mecha, he suddenly felt his phone vibrating continuously in his pocket.
Su Ming took out his phone and discovered that it was his mother who had called many times, so he immediately answered.
"Hello?"
"Oh my son, you've finally answered the phone! Are you alright? Your father and I have been so worried."
Zhao Ning's voice was so anxious it carried a hint of crying.
"I'm fine, I'm safe inside the iron lump."
"Iron lump?"
"It's the training mecha!"

Su Ming hung up the communication directly.
At this time, Tang Yan was the first to start up his mecha and asked,
"Is everyone ready?"

After giving his orders, Tang Yan controlled his mecha to take large steps and move outwards.
Su Ming and his two companions followed.

Tang Yan controlled his mecha and quickly rushed out of the gate. After covering a certain distance, he suddenly felt something was amiss.
He looked left and right, but didn't see Su Ming and the others.
So Tang Yan turned his head to look back, only to see Su Ming and the others walking sluggishly behind.
"Hey, you guys take your time, I've got to go ahead, the situation is urgent!"
Tang Yan really didn't have time to wait for Su Ming and the others; it was nearly a dire emergency.
"Okay."
Su Ming and the others responded at the same time.
Tang Yan's gaze hardened, and his demeanor changed, exuding a fierce, battle-hardened aura. Then he pushed the power lever forward.

The Iron Head Mecha's dual exhaust ports at the back spewed out scorching flames.
The entire Iron Head Mecha took off in an ultra-low flight, leaving with movements that were incredibly skilled and cool.
"Wow, the teacher is so awesome!"
Mink was stunned.
"Pfft, what's so curious about that? Instructor Tang Yan served in the frontline Mecha Corps for over ten years. Only veterans who retired from the frontline are qualified to teach the Mechanical Armor Class."
Chen Tong snorted coldly.
"Enough talk, let's hurry up and move. It would be a real joke if the fight is over by the time we get there."
Su Ming maneuvered the Training Mecha to slowly speed up, while Mink and Chen Tong awkwardly managed to keep their Mechas up to pace.
Just then, as the artificial sun had dimmed, it suddenly lit up again. Night instantly turned into day, as the Thirteenth District performed manual adjustments for day and night.
Seeing this, Su Ming also felt a little shocked; the artificial sun truly was handy, instantly providing a much wider field of vision.
Unfortunately, there was no smart switch functionality; it could only be manually toggled on and off by people.
Compared to smart switching, manual toggling was considerably slower and caused a slight delay.
Though it was only a minor delay, sometimes that could be deadly.
If it were possible to switch immediately once the alarm sounded, probably many lives could have been saved. But there was nothing that could be done.
Su Ming took a deep breath, refocusing his thoughts, and continued to control the Mecha forward with full concentration.
Several minutes later, Su Ming and his two companions reached the outer area of the dormitory. The scene here had become even more chaotic, filled with deformed rats and Parasites.
Screams of fear and pain echoed one after the other.
Even though instructor Tang Yan's Mecha, along with some reinforcements, had arrived, the situation remained very grim.
"Let's go!"
Su Ming commanded Mink as he operated his Mecha.
"Alright!"
Mink and Chen Tong responded in unison.
The three immediately spread out, controlling their Mechas in different directions.
Nearby, five female students were cornered against the wall of the dormitory by seven Parasites. These creatures bared their mouths at them, droplets of black blood trickling down.
"No, don't come any closer."

A girl with blue short hair, looking pretty in a strawberry bear pajama set, screamed in extreme terror.
Unfortunately, the Parasites didn't care for her pleas; they grew even more frenzied. Just as they were about to pounce, a dark shadow loomed over them, instinctively causing the Parasites to look up.
Boom!
Su Ming, controlling the Mecha, descended from the sky, crashing down.
Blood and flesh splattered instantly!
Four Parasites were crushed flat on impact, while the other three were blown away.
Because Su Ming was so eager to rescue them, he misjudged the force while using the Mecha's jetting device for the first time, which resulted in a control error. The Mecha did not land on its feet but rather crashed down prone.
After crushing the Parasites, the Training Mecha, driven by immense inertia, skidded across the ground toward the female students.
"Ah~"
The five girls, who hadn't even had time to rejoice for their rescue, watched in horror as the hulking Training Mecha sparked and slid their way, their faces drained of color.
Inside the cockpit, Su Ming, seeing his schoolmates approaching, struggled with the controls, pressing his Mecha's hands into the ground.

The five girls also shut their eyes in terror, bracing for imminent death.
However, after a few seconds had passed, they felt no pain, and in distress, they opened their eyes to see the massive Training Mecha had stopped just in front of them, mere thirty centimeters away.
"Wah, we're saved."
The short-haired girl couldn't hold back her tears any longer, and they started to fall.
In the cockpit, Su Ming had an expression of helpless resignation. A real Mecha was indeed not that easy to operate, especially since this Training Mecha's age made it particularly difficult to maneuver.
He intended to land with a step, but instead, he ended up face-planting, nearly taking out his classmates in the process. Fortunately, he managed to stop just in time, so it wasn't a big problem.

At that moment, the three Parasites that had been blown away were angrily getting up and charging toward Su Ming.
Su Ming controlled the Mecha to shakily stand up, then raised his hand and slapped down!
