In the Tencent live room, excitement was at an all-time high, with guest commentators Su Yi, Coach Zhang, and the special guest "Zhu 8" Zhu Fangyu adding extra flavor to the broadcast.
"With the game about to start, how about we make a quick prediction?" Su Yi opened the conversation. "Coach Zhang, Zhu 8, who do you think has the edge tonight?"
"Looking at overall strength, I'd say the East has the advantage. Giannis, Embiid, and others are in top form this season, all aiming for the MVP title," Coach Zhang responded.
Zhu Fangyu laughed, "I'd bet on the West. LeBron may be older, but his consistency is unmatched. Plus, with Curry, Durant, and, of course, our own Tang Lei—who just won the three-point and dunk titles—they have a lot of firepower."
Su Yi nodded, "While the starting lineups are fairly balanced, the East does have the stronger bench with players like Beal, Lowry, and Simmons, who bring speed and versatility."

This year's All-Star Game followed the draft format, with Tang Lei as the West captain and Giannis Antetokounmpo leading the East. Tang Lei selected LeBron, Curry, Durant, and Paul George, while Giannis chose Embiid, Leonard, Irving, and Kemba Walker.
As the game began, Tang Lei surprised everyone by volunteering to jump against Embiid for the tip-off. Seeing Tang Lei step forward, Embiid smirked as if to say, "You're asking for it."
Although Tang Lei usually didn't go for the jump, he felt it was his responsibility as captain to set an example. With his added wingspan and vertical leap, Tang Lei reached above Embiid, tapping the ball effortlessly to Curry.
Without hesitation, Curry dribbled past half-court and launched a deep three. The ball arced through the air, spinning gracefully before sinking cleanly through the net.
"OHHHHH~~" The crowd erupted, with cheers echoing throughout the arena.
In typical All-Star fashion, defense was light in the first half, with players focusing on flashy plays and highlight moments. Kemba Walker responded quickly with a three-pointer for the East.
Curry brought the ball up again, passing to Tang Lei, who cut to the basket, finishing with a smooth reverse layup. On the other end, Kyrie Irving dazzled with a series of crossovers before scoring his own layup.
Feeling the excitement, LeBron attempted a half-court three, but it bounced off the back of the rim. Durant, however, was there to clean it up with a powerful one-handed slam.
The East pushed back with Giannis sending a long pass to Embiid, who dunked with authority and roared at the crowd.
With everyone focusing on offense, the pace was fast and relentless. The score had already reached 27-25 in just half a quarter.
