Capítulo 279: Chapter 279: The Geometry of Olive Branch Civilization

The countless illogical tactics employed by Kunpeng left Olive Branch Civilization feeling increasingly frustrated. This sensation was akin to a mother using a technique to create a thousand versions of herself, incessantly nagging her child. Olive Branch Civilization understood deeply that they needed to put an end to this farce; if they did not convert their passivity into initiative, they would become the losers in this war.

Despite the enemy's chaotic behavior, this was still a war, and the enemy had their own objectives.

"No matter what, we must destroy them."

"We shouldn't have any reservations; the more we hesitate, the more constrained we become, which will only decrease our chances of victory."

"Even if the enemy is stronger than us, under the great light of our civilization, every sacrifice for our civilization is worthwhile; it is the value of our existence."

With that resolve, Olive Branch Civilization sounded the horn for attack.

Or rather, they were already on the offensive; previously, their objectives had been somewhat muddled, but now they had become clear.

Whether for individuals or civilizations, new endeavors often begin with a period of chaos. Kunpeng was no exception; it was experimenting because the federation knew too little about Olive Branch Civilization. This ignorance prevented them from employing any targeted tactics since they were unaware of what strategies could effectively counter Olive Branch.

This chaotic approach was part of establishing a war model to determine which actions could exert pressure on Olive Branch Civilization.

Unfortunately, no effective tests had emerged from these attempts.

While data on Olive Branch's weaponry had been gathered, it proved fundamentally unhelpful for this war effort.

The ships of Olive Branch Civilization gradually dispersed in deep space. The positions of each ship became subtly altered, creating an eerie atmosphere.

Kunpeng was still dealing with the aftermath of the red dwarf's transformation into a black hole.

Ultimately, this black hole formation did not succeed; there was insufficient mass for such a collapse. Instead, it resulted in a small explosion that expelled material without even generating gamma rays.

However, these high-velocity ejections did impact Kunpeng significantly, forcing it to retreat from that area and fully exposing itself to Olive Branch Civilization's gaze.

"Analyzing the current status of Olive Branch Civilization's fleet; their energy appears to be exhibiting a diffuse extension..."

"This extension follows a geometric pattern where all energy shares identical characteristics and extends from macro to micro scales."

"Remarkably, this energy seems to block the flow of waste particles; its framework appears to have already reduced fundamental particles—not just at the atomic level but even at subatomic levels."

"The energy is folding; this energy has become densely packed at microscopic dimensions—is it functioning as a shield?"

"…"

Kunpeng continued its analysis.

Geometric patterns differ from traditional geometry. Traditional geometry encompasses not just three-dimensional constructs but also zero-dimensional, one-dimensional, two-dimensional, four-dimensional, five-dimensional constructs and beyond.

These dimensions share a commonality: they are all integers.

In contrast, non-integer geometric expressions refer to geometries defined by non-negative real dimensions—like 0.631 or similar values.

Thus "non-integer" refers specifically to non-integer dimensions as opposed to integer-based geometries.

The term "shape" is more straightforward—it refers to forms present in nature. Similar shapes can be found within a single entity rather than comparing one object with another.

For instance, consider leaves—complex structures like cauliflower can evoke wonder when observed closely.

If we regard the veins of leaves as straight lines extending outward from the main vein into smaller similar lines at increasingly microscopic levels, we begin to grasp this concept of non-integer geometry.

To simplify further: a large object can continuously extend smaller identical forms down to fundamental levels.

For example, consider the number "3." Here "3" can be visualized as two inverted "c" shapes; transforming both "c" shapes into "3" results in two connected threes that can further extend into smaller quantities of "3." This exemplifies non-integer geometry.

In reality, particles are analogous to the universe itself. Some may question whether we are merely cells within another entity since planets revolve around stars and stars orbit black holes—this similarity mirrors how electrons orbit atomic nuclei. Perhaps at even more microscopic scales, similar states exist; perhaps strings are composed of even smaller structures.

Non-integer geometry exists within the federation but lacks substantial applications at present. However, Olive Branch Civilization's demonstration of non-integer geometry in warfare indicates their profound expertise in this area.

Physics and chemistry fundamentally rely on mathematics; the entire universe can be explained through mathematical principles.

Thus it is not surprising that Olive Branch Civilization excels in mathematics; being an advanced civilization inherently implies possessing matching mathematical foundations.

These energies continuously shaped themselves into extremely microscopic dimensions. Due to vast distances involved, Kunpeng could only hypothesize what states these energies might exhibit at present.

Given Kunpeng's current computational capabilities, calculating such phenomena would overwhelm its systems. Under maximum operational capacity, analyzing results became excessively complex and time-consuming—initially yielding results within one minute but later requiring days or longer for each outcome—akin to blockchain processes that extend indefinitely while becoming increasingly difficult over time.

Olive Branch Civilization's energies reached levels far exceeding current technological understandings within the federation.

These energies began to spread not forward but downward and leftward. After approximately 18 days of this geometric interplay finally ceased,

Kunpeng observed that these energies were gradually converging toward a central point.

"Analyzing electric energy…"

"0/-1000000000e?"

"Analysis error… Seeking smaller dimensional energy analysis; no smaller energy units exist within system—unable to analyze…"

Currently all measurements were based on fundamental particles. The dimensional leap from fundamental particles to string theory represented significant gaps in knowledge—this void persisted throughout space. Even though most fundamental particles produced by the federation were larger than quarks, some materials potentially existed that were smaller than quarks but could not maintain stability like normal particles do over time.

Therefore for the federation today, measurements smaller than quarks remained useless and difficult to define accurately.

This disparity manifested during ongoing warfare; measurement inaccuracies affected calculation precision. Without accurate metrics, machines could not make precise judgments about any given situation—resulting in Kunpeng experiencing operational failures directly.

Yet Olive Branch Civilization did not halt their advances due to these challenges.

Long-range radiation exceeding gamma-ray energy levels traversed distances over ten light-years instantly piercing through Kunpeng.
