KIERAN
After the lunch I had with my family, all I could think about, all I could think of, was Archie.
His absence in my life was so stark and vivid, and I knew I had to fix what had went wrong between us.
So I had chosen one day after work, and I tracked him down. I went to all our favourite bars, but he wasn't there.
I asked around wondering if I had missed him, but the bartenders made me understand that Archie never came to bar if it was not with me.
So basically, he always came to bars because of me.
I didn't know how to feel about that.
My search went on and on, and when I had no more spots to scout, I made the ultimate decision to visit him at home.
The decision had hit me squarely in the gut. Although I knew where Archie stayed, I had never gone to see him at home.
