Capítulo 178: Chapter 178: The Youngest Titled Douluo in History

To improve the Eight Extremes Collapse, Mu Chen understood that increasing one's physical strength was essential. To achieve this, every night, Mu Chen would take the time to use a whip to train Shui Bing'er, Shui Yue'er, and Jiangzhu, carefully controlling the force of each strike to land precisely where needed on the three young women.

Mu Chen would also prepare a potent medicinal solution for them to bathe in afterward, enhancing the effects of the physical training.

However, Jiangzhu had been secretly diluting her bathwater with clear water, lessening its effects. As a result, her physical progress stagnated, allowing her to continue receiving Mu Chen's intense training sessions. It seemed Jiangzhu harbored a peculiar preference for this treatment, suggesting an unusual penchant for enduring hardship.

Mu Chen was taken aback, staring at Jiangzhu.

Before crossing over to this world, he had once heard from a friend that some people had strange tastes. But to encounter someone like Jiangzhu, who actually seemed to prefer such treatment, was astonishing.

Caught under Mu Chen and Xiao Wu's stunned gaze, Jiangzhu felt as if their looks pierced through her, mocking her. Tears welled up in her eyes, and unable to bear the shame, she turned and ran.

"Brother, go after her!" Xiao Wu urged.

"Me? Again?" Mu Chen raised his eyebrows.

"Of course, you made her cry!" Xiao Wu said, crossing her arms with a frown.

"Hey, this time it wasn't my fault. She's the one who…" Mu Chen started, but Xiao Wu cut him off.

"Brother, please go. Imagine how embarrassed she must feel right now. I'm worried she might do something drastic," Xiao Wu insisted.

"Why don't you go?" Mu Chen asked.

"Who's the head of Tang Sect?" Xiao Wu shot back.

"That's me!" Mu Chen replied.

"So, if something happens to her, who's responsible?" Xiao Wu continued.

"That would be me…" Mu Chen admitted.

"Exactly," Xiao Wu said with a satisfied smile.

"Fine, why am I always the one left with the trouble…" Mu Chen muttered, resigning himself to chase after Jiangzhu.

As he followed her, he found her standing on the edge of a cliff, gazing into the distance.

Is she really planning to do something reckless? Mu Chen thought, alarmed.

The wind blew, stirring her wine-red hair and carrying the faint scent of roses in the air.

"Ahem!"

Mu Chen cleared his throat. Jiangzhu glanced over her shoulder, but she quickly turned back to stare into the distance.

"Uh…"

Mu Chen took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts. "Look, everyone has different preferences and personalities. Some enjoy wine, some enjoy gambling, and yes, some enjoy… other things. Living shouldn't be about what others think. You should live for yourself. Liking what you do isn't shameful, Jiangzhu. If you really want me to… help you, I can continue as before."

"Who said I…" Jiangzhu started to retort, but as she turned, she lost her footing and slipped off the cliff.

"Jiangzhu!"

Mu Chen called out, and with a flash of his rainbow-colored wings, he instantly appeared beside her, catching her slender waist before flying them both back up to safety.

"Jiangzhu, is your resolve so weak that you'd do something like this over a small misunderstanding?" Mu Chen asked, his tone serious.

"I… I wasn't trying to do anything drastic! I was just here for some fresh air. I lost my balance, that's all," Jiangzhu replied, cheeks flushing red.

"Really?" Mu Chen asked, a bit embarrassed.

"Yes," Jiangzhu nodded firmly.

"So, you weren't here to do something reckless?" Mu Chen asked again.

"No," Jiangzhu repeated, nodding even more decisively.

"Well… guess I was mistaken then," Mu Chen said, scratching his head.

The two stood in silence for a moment before Jiangzhu spoke up.

"Was what you said earlier… true?" she asked, looking at him.

"Which part?" Mu Chen asked.

"The part where you said… you'd continue to… train me?" Jiangzhu asked, unable to bring herself to say the word "punish."

"Of course," Mu Chen nodded. "If that's what you need, you can come to me anytime."

Mu Chen couldn't deny that each time he trained Jiangzhu, he'd earn a few thousand soul power points—a small gain, but every bit helped.

"And… can I use different postures?" Jiangzhu asked.

"Huh?" Mu Chen was taken aback.

Jiangzhu had just asked if she could use various postures during her training sessions, leaving Mu Chen momentarily speechless.

"Um… it's really tiring to stand in the same position every time, that's all," Jiangzhu quickly clarified, her face flushed with embarrassment.

Mu Chen chuckled, realizing she was merely trying to cover her embarrassment.

"Sure," he agreed with a smile.

Ding!

"Congratulations! Your disciple Tang Yuehua has reached Level 50 and contributed 1.86 million soul power points. Your soul power has reached the limit. Current level: 90 (0/5,844,150)."

"Level up?"

Mu Chen was surprised—his soul power had finally reached Level 90. Tang Yuehua, who was training far away, had unexpectedly contributed enough for his advancement.

At Level 90, Mu Chen was just one spirit ring away from becoming a Titled Douluo.

Whoosh

And Mu Chen was only thirteen years old.

Becoming a Titled Douluo at thirteen was truly unprecedented!

"With one more spirit ring, I'll become a Titled Douluo."

Mu Chen's lips curled into a smirk as he looked in the direction of Spirit City, thinking, "Spirit Hall, I'm coming! Are you ready to greet me?"
