'Tsk, what the hell is wrong with that big thing? Why is it not reacting to a thing I am doing? It should be plunging itself into the river by now.'

Claris bit her lip as she looked at the monster she was trying to use her powers on.

Most of her power was mental and worked on the target's brain. That was what made her so useful in a huge-scale monster-focused dungeon.

She could take control of the monster and make them fight for her side.

But this time, it was not working. She tried to determine this creature's brain waves, but they seemed absent.

"It looks like it is a dumb creature. That leaves me with only one choice to make."

Claris grabbed her knife and left the bushes where she was hiding.

She was S-class, not just because of her powers. She had incredible agility and strength as well.
