Capítulo 48: Dinner Date (II)

Grace enjoyed the rest of the wine in silence as neither of them spoke after that statement. However, she was surprised to realize that it was a comfortable silence, nothing like what she had experienced with him before.

"How about enjoying the rest of the wine with food?" Davian offered once they both finished their first glass of wine.

Grace nodded her head in approval and followed him to the dining table. Davian pulled out the chair for her as she took her seat, once again surpising her by his gesture. He had done this several times during their fake dates in public. But this time, it felt entirely different, more genuine.

Does he really like me? She found herself wondering as her gaze followed him while he revealed the dishes he had prepared by removing the lids before he too settled down on the chair opposite hers.
