After Snape left, Eisen shifted his focus to Hagrid's hut. Changing his perspective, he saw several figures: Harry and Hermione were drinking tea made by Hagrid, while Ron was vomiting into a brass basin. Eisen then made his way to Hagrid's hut.

"I saw Lockhart talking to you earlier. What did he want, Hagrid?" Eisen heard Harry's question as he entered Hagrid's cabin.

"Professor Eisen—" Everyone greeted him, except for the weak Ron.

"Lockhart has business with Hagrid?" Eisen sat down, pulling up a chair, and continued from Harry's inquiry.

"Heh—he wanted to teach me how to stop water monsters from getting into wells." Hagrid laid out a teapot in front of Eisen, his beard twitching with annoyance. "As if I didn't know! He's bragging about driving out some female ghost. If even one word of that is true, I'll eat this teapot!"

Harry and Hermione looked at Hagrid in surprise, and even Ron, who was still vomiting, shared the same expression. After all, it was rare for Hagrid to criticize a Hogwarts professor so openly.

"But Professor Dumbledore clearly thinks Lockhart is the best candidate for Defense Against the Dark Arts," Hermione interjected, unable to sit quietly as Hagrid criticized the man.

Hagrid curled his lip and set a plate of fudge on the table. "No, he's just the only candidate. It's hard to find someone willing to take that job. Many adult wizards think the position is cursed, and no one stays long."

Hagrid shifted the subject when he noticed Ron's pale face. "What's going on with Malfoy?"

Ron managed to mutter between retches, "Malfoy called Hermione a terrible word—he called her 'Mudblood'."

"Luckily, Professor Eisen was there," Harry added. "What did Malfoy get for it?"

Eisen smiled at Hermione before turning to Hagrid, who was growing more shocked and angry. "I wanted to deduct 100 points from Slytherin, but I didn't bother. Instead, I called Professor Snape to handle his students. Snape found out what Malfoy said, reprimanded him, and deducted twenty points. He also gave him detention."

Hearing that Snape had punished Malfoy, joy lit up the faces of Harry, Hermione, and Ron. For them, it was good news.

"That's the right way, letting Snape handle his students," Hagrid nodded approvingly. "I'd like to see if Lucius Malfoy dares to come to the school and cause trouble over it."

"Good thing you didn't hex Malfoy, Ron, or you'd be in real trouble," Hagrid added. Ron groaned, burying his face in the basin. Eisen understood Hagrid's point; Malfoy's family had considerable influence and wealth, and Ron could easily have faced serious repercussions.

Hagrid then changed the topic abruptly. "By the way, Harry, I heard Lockhart say you were giving out autographed photos. Why didn't I get one?" Hagrid teased, watching Harry, whose mouth was stuffed with fudge.

"That's not true!" Harry protested vehemently. "Lockhart's spreading rumors—"

"I know, I was just teasing." Hagrid chuckled, clapping Harry on the shoulder. Though he meant no harm, the force sent Harry sprawling onto the table.

"I told Lockhart you don't need autographs to be more famous than him," Hagrid laughed, pulling Harry back to his feet.

"Lockhart must have been furious," Harry said, sitting up and rubbing his chin.

"Oh, he wasn't happy," Hagrid grinned. "I told him I haven't read a single one of his books, and he left right after."

"Come see what I'm growing!" Hagrid said excitedly after Harry and Hermione finished their tea. He led the group outside to the vegetable patch behind his hut, revealing a dozen enormous pumpkins, each about half the size of a person.

"What do you think? They're coming along nicely!" Hagrid said proudly. "These are for the Halloween feast, and they'll get even bigger by then."

"What did you use to fertilize them?" Harry asked in awe.

Eisen approached one of the pumpkins and ran his hand over it, marveling at the magic. Despite believing that Muggle technology would advance rapidly in the future, Eisen couldn't deny the idealistic beauty of magic. Problems like hunger, which plagued the Muggle world, could be easily solved with magic. Although food couldn't be conjured from nothing, spells could multiply it. Expansion magic, like the one used on Hagrid's pumpkins, could make food grow larger and easily alleviate food shortages.

"If a wizard set up a food-related business in the Muggle world," Eisen mused, "they'd become the richest person in no time."

Eisen pondered for a moment, considering the unimaginable potential if the magical and Muggle worlds ever collaborated. Such a partnership, while unlikely in the present, might one day release extraordinary vitality into the world.

This thought led Eisen to reflect on the true nature of magic. For many wizards raised in magical families, magic was simply a tool, something to be mastered. Most would only learn the standard spells taught at schools like Hogwarts, but few delved deeper to explore magic's broader possibilities.

Eisen, however, saw things differently. Having spent decades in the Muggle world, his perspective was shaped by a different worldview. His approach to magic was both broader and more inventive, giving him unique insights.

It was clear to Eisen that this way of thinking, coupled with his innate gifts, was one of his greatest advantages in his magical journey.
