"Mr. Adler, you have a phone call. They say it's an emergency."

Without thinking twice, Jett took the phone and walked back to the parking lot with Eric following behind him.

Behind the building, Daniel was pressing down hard on Gordon Syklar's chest with the sole of his shoe.

When the people around heard him, they gave him strange looks.

Only a few people could boldly say what he just said.

The mayor literally controlled every part of the city and as his secretary, Gordon was quite influential and his words were taken for it given he was seen as the mayor's mouth piece.

"What? Do we now have thugs dressed as civilized people in our midst?"
