Alice suddenly remembered something and signaled him to lower his head a bit closer.
He was oblivious to what she was going to say but took her as a harmless girl. So, he bent his head and she whispered a few things to him, knowing he was the only one who could solve it.
After whispering, she smiled like a little troublemaker and added,
"Please?"
"Hoho, don't worry. I'll take care of it." He said and Mark, who didn't hear her words, wondered what she whispered to the chairman.
He raised his hand towards his assistant and Marcus placed a card on his hand.
"Here, my number is in it. Call me once you're settled down and I'll invite you for dinner."
"And lunch." Alice added, taking the card with a wide titter. "You'll invite me for lunch too."
"Yes, yes, Miss Alice. I will invite you for lunch." He patted her head and smiled. "So, I expect your call soon."
Cough, cough, cough
I have nothing to say but to cough
