Capítulo 2: Chapter 2

I started writing down more notes as Lin started berating the avatar. "You destroyed that entire alley, then you fled the police." Lin slammed her clipboard down on the table, rattling it a little.

"Well... you see, I'm the avatar-" Korra said, teaching her chains to point at herself. I hate people who talk with hand gestures when they're not needed. Before the Woman monitoring the room's speaker could stop me I pressed the red button that allowed me to speak "You should see ya, that nobody cares"

Ohhhh nasty with it.

"Hey, I heard that!" She screamed, she tried to get up and pointed at the voice box, but Lin pulled down on the steel chains holding the Avatar's hands.

"You need to sit down!" Lin yelled at her in a stern voice. Looking for any way to escape the embarrassment, she looked around and then stopped at the clipboard. She let out a laugh then said "You're Beifongs daughter!"

Lin scowled and gave a stern look at Korra. "What of it" her look was scrutinizing. This booth was like the box seats at a play, except that you don't get shot while watching the play. "Then why are you treating me like some common pickpocket? Avatar Aang and your mom saved the world together. "The avatar explained common sense like it was some sort of complex math. It showed her stupidity or naivety, maybe both.

"That's history-" Lin shrugged off the first part of her miniature monologue, couldn't say the same for the second part "-and I'm not my mother! Don't you ever compare me to her again!"

"I wanna speak to the boss." Korra let out an 'Umpf,' closed her eyes, and put her arms together. Like a whiny little hoe that don't know her place. Where is a pimp named slickback when you need him.

The lady snatched the microphone back from me, I didn't even realize I still had it in my hands. "Chief, Councilman Tenzin is here to see you," she spoke into it.

Lin let out a heavy sigh but still spoke clearly, "Let him in." It was kinda depressing the way she spoke.

Korra leaned around so she could see past Lin. A door opened, and Tenzin, in his bright and flashy light red and bright yellow robes, walked through. Looked kinda like a reverse flash.

"Sorry, Tenzin, I got sidetracked trying to find you." Korra looked even more embarrassed than earlier. Tenzin just looked disappointed.

Tenzin looked at Lin, he gave a smug face before he addressed her "Lin, looking radiant as usual"

"Cut the cute words; why is the Avatar in Republic City? Weren't you moving to the South Pole so you could teach her?" She stared Tenzin down; even though she was shorter, she still was tougher.

"My relocation has been delayed-" he stopped and changed moods, he looked at Korra menacingly while he spoke "The Avatar on the other hand, if you would please drop the charges on the Avatar I would take full responsibility for her actions, the finest will come out of my pocket"

He was so smug, watching the show and being in the show were very different. I just wanna beat the shit out of this guy.

"Just get her outta my city." She pressed her index finger up against his chest. Tenzin's look was as smug as ever; he spoke once more, "Korra, let's go." The cuffs around her wrists were unlocked by Lin's metal bending before sliding off.

As korra walked out Lin put her pinky and pointer finger to her eye in an intimidating display she pointed them at the Avatars face.

The avatar related thisgesyure in a mocking manner.

Korra groggily walked over to Tenzin. Lin grabbed her clipboard, taking off the papers as she walked out. I opened the booth door at the same time, she was handed a folder and pen by a man sitting at a desk. She wrote down 'Avatar Korra' at the top of the folder. I noticed a rough drawing of the avatar Korra on the front of the folder.

Lin inserted the paper from the clipboard into the folder before sealing it. They only had Folders and identification drawings for criminals. This meant that a criminal who had never been caught before was likely to get off because they had no criminal record or any record.

It's a stupid system; maybe a fingerprint would help. The rest of the day was uneventful really. Lin said she forgot something, but she took a little too long to get it. We hopped in the jeep before driving off. I liked the cool mountainous area our house was in; the only problem was it was a 45-minute drive from the station.

I had a very nice sleep. It was peace and bliss; I awoke early in the morning to the sun shining on my face. I tried to awaken my stand; I dropped a book on my head, but it didn't work. I did get a bruised face. Instead of dropping more books on my face, I read them.

I heard Lin yelling for me to get ready so I did so with haste. She gave me a funny look, we opened the door and headed off to the car. We had to go into a.

Once she parked in the private garage of headquarters, I noticed a golden statue of my grandmother, Toph Beifong. More than likely it's bronze plated in very light gold.

We walked into her office; she walked to reveal a set of metal bender armor and uniform. There was a little orange flair along the stitches. She gave a slight smirk "I Hope you like it, I had to pay to get the extra details"

I went to a changing room and put it on; it felt light and airy, like what I imagine air bending robes feel like. It felt pleasing.

The rest of the day was uneventful, we headed home once more. I ate dinner and then drifted off to sleep.

I had a very odd dream; a humanoid figure approached me. It spoke and explained itself.

It was a humanoid being composed entirely of shimmering, multicolored tiles. The tiles were constantly shifting and rearranging themselves, forming intricate patterns that resemble classic artworks.

The way it posed told me this was my stand I would call Mosaic because its colorful, and then some information showed up

Camouflage: Mosaic's user can blend into their surroundings perfectly by having the tiles mimic the surrounding textures.

Disguise: Mosaic can create convincing disguises for the user or other objects by replicating the appearance of clothing, people, or even buildings.

Illusion: By creating shifting patterns, Mosaic can cast illusions that confuse or disorient opponents.

Offense: The sharp edges of the tiles can be used to slash and pierce enemies, and Mosaic can launch volleys of tiles like projectiles.

It was a reflection of myself, mayhaps, the more I understand myself the more I will understand my stand
