"I remember Mjolnir was near Thor the frog, trapped in the bottle. Find Thor the frog and find Mjolnir—"
The real Thor the frog is actually a man named Simon Watson, cursed to live as a frog.
Later, by chance, I jumped onto Mjolnir's belt and gained Mjolnir's approval.
However, Mjolnir is too large for him; even though he has the worthiness, he struggles to wield it properly.
During a battle, Mjolnir was shattered into a small piece, and it was this fragment that allowed Thor the frog to create his own miniature version of Mjolnir!
The Mjolnir that Jonny Blaze is searching for is clearly the full-sized version, so the frog Thor in the bottle near it must not be the real Simon Watson.
Instead, it's Thor, transformed into a frog by Loki!
As referenced in Thor 3, Loki turned Thor into a frog during their childhood. Loki's subplot also featured him becoming the king of Asgard while Thor was stuck in his frog form.
Despite not locating Mjolnir in previous attempts, Jonny Blaze wasn't going to give up this time!
Activating his super hearing, the surrounding sounds amplified drastically.
"Boom-boom-boom—"
Jonny heard a crash coming from nearby, close to the dungeon.
Based on the intensity and rhythm of the sounds, alongside a steady but slow heartbeat, he was nearly certain this was Thor the frog.
Finding Thor the frog equated to finding Mjolnir!
"You gather supplies quickly, and if you come across new recruits who have been cut in, bring them back."
Jonny donned his backpack.
With a zoom, he teleported to a confined bottle world.
Inside the bottle, space was minimal, and there stood a frog clad in Thor's uniform, almost right in front of Jonny.
Q: What would you do if an enlarged frog face suddenly appeared before you?
A: Hit him!
"Boom!"
The frog Thor, unable to react in time, was struck directly in the face by Jonny's fist and slammed backward against the glass wall.
This bottle must have been enchanted by Loki; it was incredibly sturdy!
"Ding!"
"Combat detected, reward dropped: Super strength (Thor Thor)"
While Jonny appreciated the super strength, what he really desired was the power of Odin!
The power of Odin isn't merely about Odin's might. Its origin traces back to Odin's grandfather, Buri. At that time, it was known as the power of Buri.
For the Odin family, this divine power resembles a kind of "hereditary divine power" that flows in the blood of direct descendants. Only those with Odin's blood can possess it.
At his peak, Odin wielded this power to challenge the Celestials.
This power grows stronger with each generation and is infused with the power of belief.
As Asgard grows stronger, so does this power; if Asgard were to fall, this power would diminish.
Thus, Hela, the goddess of death, who also inherited this power, becomes stronger upon returning to Asgard but weakens when Asgard is destroyed!
On the other hand, Thor remains somewhat unaffected due to the saying, "Asgard is not a place but a people." The power of belief remains, so the impact isn't as pronounced.
"Boom!"
Jonny delivered another punch to the rebounding frog Thor, then teleported out of the void.
Striking and running away was exhilarating!
The frog Thor gradually slid down the glass wall, his four-fingered claws pressed against his aching face, his round eyes vacant.
Who am I?
Where am I?
What am I supposed to do?
Wait!
Who was that just now?
And why did they hit me twice?
"Quack-quack-quack—"
(Who are you? Where are you? Come back, please come back!)
"Quack-quack-quack-quack-quack-quack—"
(Come back, I beg you!)
Jonny Blaze clearly couldn't hear Thor's croaks and shouts. He had already returned to his location and stashed the 'collected' items into the safe.
He then prepared to store the Time Gem as well.
To his surprise, the previously dull Time Gem began to glow with a faint green light.
The Time Gem actually works?
This suggests that this Time Gem likely originated from this current timeline!
What a remarkable stroke of luck!
Not to mention the Time Gem's abilities, Jonny was thrilled by the sheer fortune he had stumbled upon.
What is the most notable power of the Time Gem?
Time loop!
Dormammu, the lord of the dark dimension, was unable to withstand the time loop and had to accept Doctor Strange's terms.
Isn't it just a matter of managing to tame Himiko, who can't communicate?
Other timelines and worlds might not be able to use this Time Gem, but this timeline has numerous beings with extraordinary abilities!
If there's any ability Jonny wants but can't obtain immediately, he can simply loop time and gather it repeatedly!
