100% IDOL System / Chapter 30: Chapter Thirty: The Final Stage

Capítulo 30: Chapter Thirty: The Final Stage

The air backstage was electric with anticipation. Fans screamed outside the venue, their voices melding into a cacophony of excitement. Atelier's debut stage was only minutes away. Jiwon stood at the center of his group, his heart pounding like a drum, his nerves taut with the weight of everything he'd endured to reach this moment.

The journey had been brutal. From the endless nights of training to the suffocating pressure of the IDOL System, Jiwon had clawed his way to this point. His vocal level now stood at an unparalleled S+, and every fiber of his being was ready for this performance.

The lights dimmed, and the host's voice boomed through the stadium. "Ladies and gentlemen, the moment you've all been waiting for. Please welcome... Atelier!"

The stage exploded with lights as the music for their debut song, Rise Like the Phoenix, began. Jiwon's voice soared through the opening verse, filled with raw emotion and strength. The audience was enraptured, their cheers deafening as the group executed their flawless choreography.

For the first time, Jiwon felt truly alive—not because of the system, but because he was doing what he loved, alongside people who had become his family.

As the final notes of the song faded, Atelier stood together, breathing heavily but smiling as the crowd roared. Confetti rained down, and Jiwon felt a rush of pride. They had done it. They had debuted.

That night, as the members celebrated in the dorm, Jiwon stepped out onto the balcony for a moment of quiet. The city's lights stretched endlessly before him. He leaned against the railing, his mind replaying the performance.

Suddenly, the familiar ping of the IDOL System echoed in his head.

Congratulations. You have completed the primary objective: Successful debut as an idol.

Jiwon frowned. "Primary objective? Does that mean there's more?"

The system's voice, cold and robotic as ever, replied: Version 3.0 available. Initiating...

Jiwon's chest tightened. He thought the system's demands were finally over, that he could live his life on his terms. "No," he muttered, gripping the railing. "I'm done."

The system paused, as if processing his words. Then it said: User override detected. Do you wish to terminate the system?

Jiwon's breath hitched. This was his chance—freedom from the relentless demands, the suffocating pressure. He glanced back at the dorm, where his groupmates laughed and cheered. They had made it together, and now he wanted to live this life for himself, not because of some artificial guide.

"Yes," Jiwon whispered.

A brief silence followed, and then the system's final message appeared: IDOL System terminated. Good luck, Jiwon.

For the first time in over a year, Jiwon felt a weight lift from his shoulders. He smiled, a genuine smile, and turned back toward the dorm. The journey hadn't been easy, and it had nearly broken him, but he had made it. Not because of the system, but because he had found his strength along the way.

As he stepped back into the warmth and chaos of his group's celebration, he realized something: This wasn't the end. It was just the beginning.
